  1. All your companions move in to your ship. Stop flattering yourself. And if you don't want one following you around all the time, dismiss her and call someone else.
  2. Dude. I did not understand any of that.
  3. Make sure you do all of the bonus missions too. And try to do as many 2+ heroics as you can. You've probably missed some side quests somewhere because you should easily be able to level up by just doing solo quests. If you were too eager to leave previous planets and left a lot of side quests and bonus quests on the table, I can see how you might be underleveled. I pretty much did only solo quests (with bonuses), space missions, and a few 2+ heroics. No flashpoints, PvP or heroic 4s. And I pretty much stayed 3 levels above every location all the way to 50 without even trying. I even hit 50 before completing all of the solo quests on the last planet.
  4. Join an active guild. You will get so many people asking for help it will start to annoy you. Especially as you start getting higher in level, lazy people will start asking higher levels to walk them through heroics instead or trying to find 3 other people who have the same heroic. guilds are the best place for lowbies to guilt people into helping them. Waaah I cant find anyone to group with me after searching for 5 whole minutes. Can you drop everything that you're doing and come do my heroics for me for the next 3 hrs?
  5. Why do people ask questions that can be googled or found in the codex? Because instead of spending the extra 10 seconds to do their own search, they expect other people to look it up and type the answer out for them. Believe it or not, we are here to play the game not make getting your answers easier. This sort of attitude really irks me in guild chat as well. People ask questions in guild chat and when they don't get a response or are told that they can google it, they get all bent out of shape like the guild is supposed to be their own personal customer support or something.
  6. When people ask me for my ASL, I tell them the ASL of my character because my real life ASL is none of their f-ing business. This isn't match.com.
  7. So what you're saying is that whenever you die, you think it's the healer's fault because he wasn't healing enough? That's the typical logic that every 7th grade MMO WoW player gives for why they wiped. While that may be true sometimes, it usually isn't. Healing is not all that complicated. If all he had to do was spam all of his heals on you, anyone with half a brain should be able to manage that. Whenever the tank dies and I'm the main healer healing the tank, it's usually because of a bad pull or not enough CC, or some idiot breaks CC. Either the tank is taking too much damage (due to too many mobs or poor gear) or aggro is bouncing all over and I'm trying to heal the whole party at once (due to bad tanking) or I'm getting sniped by range and have to keep healing myself or keep getting interrupted (again due to bad tanking). It's almost never because I'm not pressing the heal buttons fast enough because I'm too busy picking my nose.
  8. If you see someone acting like a jerk to someone else in the group, tell the jerk to stuff it. Nothing shuts an immature jerk up faster than when he thinks there is more than one person against him. He'll most likely start to feel really insecure and quit the group on his own.
  9. I rolled landroval when I first started playing lotro. I had no idea it was the "unofficial" RP server at the time. I just thought there were a lot of weirdos playing lotro.
  10. I have a $1000 rig that was purchased at best buy like 4 years ago that runs this game just fine. I did update the graphics card about a year ago to a 9800gt buts thats not even considered mid-level now. To be honest, I was thinking about upgrading my rig just to play this and skyrim, but they both play fine so I held off. If you consider my rig to be "high end", your must be running a P3 or something.
  11. Not everyone shares your opinion that they would like to play on a crowded and maxed out shard. there's probobly a fair number of people who will jump shards because theyre not able to finish quests due to ninja looting or KSing or whatever.
  12. She forces you to socialize like a normal human being and you force her to become a basement dwelling troll. Sounds like a good trade.
  13. Since this is the first time I'm playing this game, I really want to immerse myself into my character and the story (which I am really enjoying, btw). And I find it very distracting when I have to look at general chat with people's off topic comments or LFG/LFM spams. Also, when I'm knee deep in a good plot line, the last thing I want is for someone to send me a random invite or a tell asking if I wanna do a flashpoint. I was even hesitant to join a guild because I knew that would lead me to the "how come I'm not an officer", "how come I don't get any help", "why are people ignoring me when I ask a question", anyone want <links to a bunch of crappy gear>, "ding! grats! ding! grats! ding! grats! ding! grats!..." and so on. Seriously, I'm just enjoying the story and the game itself too much to bother with all of that typical MMO crap right now. Maybe after a few more play throughs on the Empire and Sith sides I will start getting more into the grouping aspects of the game, but right now, I'm just having too much fun to bother.
  14. Everyone is born naked in this world. The world didnt take your money, you just werent smart enough to acquire any.
  15. Kind of an exploit, but if Qyzen is low on health after a fight, instead of meditating to heal him, toggle your speeder on/off with a hot key to get instant full health. Saves you from having to sit there for several seconds or wasting a heal on him after the fight. Only works outside of course.
