  1. I do not understand why companions should EVER have been allowed to return from crew missions and completely interrupt anything and everything as if what they are delivering really was more important than what I am doing at that moment. Maybe it is me. Maybe their is a feature to disable this, and I did a poor job of looking for it. However, I did send an in-game support about this a month ago and simply got an apology and was told to check patch notes. Maybe it is just me. Maybe I am so sorry of a player that I should remember to check to see if any companions will be returning shortly before starting an email, since they will completely blow the email window out and I will have to start over. Maybe I am stupid for not checking companion status before deciding to search the in game help for another solution or writing for help under the in game help section. Certainly by now I should know that the companions are of such nature that they will kick down the door to my bedroom even if they can hear the obvious sounds of people having sex on the other side of the door. However, this type of intrusion I have never experienced in any other game that I have ever played. Perhaps this is just a weed out. If I know people that have QQ'd about this publicly as a sign that the game was prematurely launched prior to them quitting, at least one dev team member has to know this too. It is like no one on the dev team bothers to send comps out on missions while they do flashpoints or run Warzones. Is that because they can just code whatever ever gear they want for their toons, and however many credits? Well, for those of us that can't and have to rely on crafting and selling it sucks. It certainly would explain why my searching the Global Consignment Store for upgrades for my toons is deemed less vital to my survive-ability than my toon returning back with 4 pieces of Chanlon. Maybe in 1.2 there will be a "Devour Chanlon" ability that will allow me to restore myself to full health and reduce all damage taken by 100% for 6 seconds. In which case, I will leave the bedroom door open when I have sex because I would want to make it as easy as possible to deliver my Chanlon. Heck, I would even make my woman take one for the team in that case. I just asked in gen chat if there was a feature to disable this before sending this because there really should be and really can't believe there is not. I so believe that it is tucked somewhere that I overlooked. At this point, if the feature simply isn't in the game, shame on those who developed the code for companions to return from missions. At this point, developing it is not enough. Nor is apologizing for launching the game with such a amateur design and game-play diminishing defect. Since, I have to invest valuable RL time to get this done, I need vengeance. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I will assume that someone is likely to correct this soon. However, when they are writing the code to do so, I should get to barge in reboot their computer ... no saving of course prior to reboot either. Now, we would be even for all the times that I have had to start from scratch in emails and in other stuff. Then while the text describing the patch notes are being written, we have to bombard the writer with comps returning with Chanlon, at least 10 times. That is getting off easy compared to what the average user has experienced. Then we can probably call it even.
