  1. Killing people brings the most personal satisfaction. If you already dont care about winning or losing, why even care about points? I find that it is extremely satisfying to destroy people in PVP whether it be open world or in Warzones
  2. thank you! ugh we are the only class getting a nerf....
  3. I know the nerf is coming for operatives but where are they? I have read all the patch notes and cannot seem to find them anywhere.

    My 2 Cents

So I am level 36, about to turn 37 so in no way am I an expert or know-it-all when it comes to this game but I think I would put my 2 cents in: PVP: I would say its pretty much garbage (and I love PVP, why I wrote about it first). Its laggy and buggy. I have a great rig but as an Imperial Agent, positioning is key and when I stun people and then teleport a few meters it means I lose my stun. Also, why is there still gear progression in PVP? I kinda of stole this point from another post and after considering it I realized that gear progression is the actually thing that really destroys PVP in MMOs. It could be so much more competitive if everyone went in with the same gear and the primary point of PVP was to actually WIN! Right now that point is to just grind. I think that a developer should just experiment with a PVP system that was balanced gear wise. I really don’t even understand the other side of the argument. Some people made the point that it would take the RPG element out of the game (or just out of PVP). But that confuses me too. When did gear progression become synonymous with RPG. An RPG for me was always a game that had an amazing story; a story in which I was able to play the role of a character within the story. I never played Final Fantasy 7 or any of the other great MMOs and said, “man this gear progression is GREAT!” My solution, give everyone the same PVP gear and make rewards for actually winning the warzones. Normally the only thing competitive games have to do is stat track and all of a sudden you create a competitive environment. Look at different genres for examples, an RTS (like starcraft, one of the best RTS games) has absolutely no PVP progression. But what is does is keeps track of your wins and losses. I think people underestimate the power of stat tracking. I don’t want 200 loses and only 50 wins on my record. 2 cents would be 2 cents without 2 opinions so here is my next point: I think a lot can agree that the PVP needs work but now I would like to touch on the leveling experience. This can actually be wrapped up into one point: Last night I logged in because I was excited to see what was going to happen in my Imperial Agent story line. I don’t want to give away any spoilers but like I said, I am level 36 almost 37 and the story is great! It is the first time I have ever logged in to an MMO just to find out what is going to happen in my character, and that is the reason why BW has succeeded in making an MMORPG and not just an MMO.
  5. I keep getting completely demolished by because he and my companion stand right on top of each other. I can only actually attack him every once and awhile and I cant heal my companion because it says I cant see her.... This is bull .... man even before the fight starts if I try to hit him with a ranged attack is says, "cannot see target" With the glitches I can only get him down to about half health
  6. I have read many forums since the launch of this game and there seems to be 1 complaint expressed the most often. “There are no level brackets in PVP.” Well my response is , “no S***.” When a MMO launches the developers realize that the majority of the player base will be at a low level. Therefore if they made level brackets at launch it would essentially penalize those people who leveled very fast. Lets pretend for a moment that you were the very first person to reach level 50. Wow what an accomplishment! But with brackets you are now not only unable to do PVE but you are also locked out of PVP as well. So the developers made a choice. At launch there would be no brackets and the low levels would be stat boosted. Obviously, they would miss talents and skill points but if they worked together they still had a good chance. The main problem is they would NEVER win in 1v1 but hey the developers didn’t design the game to be balanced around 1v1 anyway. Now that the player base is starting to even out a bit the developers are adding a level 50 bracket. Doing it at launch would have been a disaster because top level folks would have absolutely zero to do. Bioware is smart, now that they see that there is a large enough player base to support 50 only warzones they are implementing it. This month actually. Many people make this ridiculous argument that the game should be almost the same as WoW when they simply don’t have the ability to see why there are certain things that developers DO NOT implement at launch because the adverse effect of not implementing at launch is less than if they did.
  7. When you mouse over a piece of equipment it will automatically compare it with what you currently have equiped. Is there anyway to do this for your companion as well? I know its a small complaint but I am sick of having to open my companion window to compare equipment.
