  1. Admittedly, I have bad game burnout. There is less to do in SWTOR than a single player game. Why would I be excited about that? I am totally burnt out from running a bunch of silly quest, and doing horrible PvP. OP and the other apologist are completely correct about that. In 2 months or less most people defending this game will be gone. I'm not proud about that. I dropped 60 bucks on this game, and wanted to have fun. It failed me. I held up my end of the bargain.
  2. Brackets won't do anything except kill the war-zones. The reason I stopped is its not worth it since they nerfed the rewards. I suspect a lot of other people feel the same way and stopped.
  3. The funny thing about this is there were plenty of threads in Rift about things they needed to do immediately to save their game. Of course, former WoW players told other people to go back to WoW. The ironic thing is a lot of you will follow your own advice when this game begins to lose subs, because the devs choose to listen to ignorant, blind fanbois. How many of you telling people to go back to WoW were in the Rift forums spewing the same BS? My guess is a fair number. Rift should be a lesson, but it won't be. You clowns will continue to tell people to leave, and they will. Then you will see the light, and walk away ashamed that you ran off players instead of trying to build a community. Although, that would mean you have the ability to reflect on mistakes, which reading the garbage you write I have my doubts about that. We all spent 60 bucks, because we wanted to enjoy a game. I have a hard time believing anyone spent 60 bucks so they could get on these forums, and bash the game. Then again, I'm not going around telling people to go play WoW. So, I guess those of you that do that are probably on your own level.
  4. I have to question the numbers when a server claims to be standard or heavy. Coming from EQ when they used to actually list the numbers I know what a heavy load is. I wonder how low of a population these servers can handle. EQ and DAoC used to have 2500+ on their busiest servers, and it seemed way more populated than this. The most I've ever seen in the Republic Fleet on my servers was 36 - yea good luck finding 3 other people my level who want to do run FPs. On a heavy server I tried to restart on I saw in the low 100s. I just can't restart another toon. One would think after over 11 years servers could handle more than 2500 people(my guess is the number doesn't even reach this anymore). Its just sad. They claim they don't want to add a LFG system, because it will ruin the community but the servers are so sparsely populated its very hard to even build one.
  5. Some people aren't on populated servers.
  6. I want to group as quickly as possible. Right now, on my server I've been in 1 flash point. My hub has 23 people in it. Out of those 23 I need 3 that are going to be a tank and 2 dps that are level appropriate. Its total lunacy to be against LFD. No one is going to sit around in a zone, and spam lfg like the EQ days. It was stupid then, and it even more stupid since we have the technology to create advanced LFD tools. Don't be like Rift, and wait until the game is dying to implement this.
  7. Having the same issue. Probably just spent a full second after hitting force speed for it to go off. Wasn't even in PvP. I also noticed earlier when it was really bad my animation wouldn't go off until my global cooldown was almost reset.
  8. Sadly, tanks are probably going to be the rarest class, just like any MMO, and from what I've seen its true. Its not that I die quickly. I don't. Its that my heals are not worth casting. If someone is being targeted they are taking far more damage than I can heal for. Which is on average 1800-2200. Basically, I can heal them for one hit every 3 seconds. Are you serious? Or I can reroll as DPS(or apparently a sith inq) and actually contribute. Its pointless to heal myself. I just meditate afterwards, or die. Its a much faster way to recuperate. I've never thought that in any other game. Does that seem like a problem? Healers do not do enough to justify rolling that class for PvP. They especially do not get any love for casting interrupts or shields. However, clearly, this thread is filled with DPS who just want to run a muck. That's fine. Just don't whine when there are no healers left.
  9. Well, this is disheartening. I came to the forums to see if I was doing something wrong, or if, as I suspected healing in PvP is not viable. It seems that I rolled the wrong class, and just need to make a dps so I can contribute in warfronts. If this is they what you guys want - just a bunch of dps running around whacking each other - more power to you. But, then don't try to insult games that require teamwork.
  10. Hello Star Wars fans, Let me first say I'm really enjoying the game a lot more than I thought I would. I really love some of the warzones, and the class story line is great. OK, but I do have 2 things that I believe are not working as intended. Is healing worthless in PvP? I can rarely keep someone up, and if someone is low health I don't even bother to heal them. It literally takes 2 minutes, and you guys know in these fast paced environments that is far too long to be trying to heal someone. So, sadly, I don't even bother to heal in warzones. Was this intended? Secondly, my force powers do less damage, yet take a greater length of time, than my lightsaber move - my one light saber move. This just causes me to spam my lightsaber instead of using my main class abilities. I have no str bonus, and loads of willpower.
