  1. I hate when people use cryptic terms like "The Analysts" when referring to projected success or failure of things. If "The Analysts" thought SWTOR was going to succeed, EA's stock wouldn't be down Give it 6 months to 1 year before passing judgement on if a game will survive or not. A few weeks is hardly enough time. Still lots that needs a fixin, and tons more bugs I'm sure haven't been found yet.
  2. Remove instances, and add more mobs that can actually fight each other. Hell the starting area for Jedi seems more active simply because of all the action going on. Sure it's a pretty weak cop out... But God, Nar Shadaa should NOT feel empty and desolate.
  3. The world feels empty, and still manages to come off confined and restricting. Not sure why, maybe I picked the wrong server... But Christ in a cartoon. The game plays like a single player game with the failures of MMO's past mixed in. Seriously, why give me an engaging well rounded story, complete with dialodue choices and character affinity changes... TO BREAK IT UP WITH WALKING THROUGH AN EMPTY CITY. I'm speaking of Tatooine here. Come the hell on! Why are there multiple instances on my server of this place when I see only 1-2 people pass by me while I am running to deliver looted quest items? I thought the whole reason we paid monthly for these games, was because we couldn't host servers that could support large amounts of players. No space PVP? *** Instance'd Cities? *** Inability to fly your ship with a friend? *** Speeders that feel like they're slower than running on foot? *** I mean come on. Great singleplayer questing. Awesome difficulty scaling. Well designed character models. Solid PVP. You obviously know how to do it right. So as Ditka would say, STOP IT.
  4. Seriously... I am enjoying the game... Having fun with it. BUT, it feels like a single player game. Seriously. I feel very little like I'm playing an MMO and more like I'm playing a shoddy attempt at making a sequel to KOTOR. I loved the KOTOR games, I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing WoW and EQ. I even liked instanced MMO's like GW... But I absolutely adored what SWG tried to accomplish (And did in some ways.) Maybe I expected this game to be a better recreation of SWG, but it isn't. I'm not trying to write another "This game is teh suxx" thread, as I intend to play this game through... But it doesn't feel like an MMO, it simply feels like KOTOR 2.5 with a chat room. ='(
