  1. Another conquest week that looks bad for pvp. off the top of my head ~500* for a ranked win 213* for a match That is all Friends that only come to SWTOR for the PVP, last week with 15 hours or more of play did not complete conquest. For ops machine gods and S&V 7,500* one off rewards *with full housing benefits
  2. Getting very concerned the effect the conquest changes have had on server activity... PvP Ranked: Been waiting 30 minutes for a pop midday Sunday, unheard of. Pops have been getting slower but it does seem to have taken a sudden leap to the bottom. Ops: There seem to be less groups looking for people. I guess that is allot less last boss farms but full run groups seem down as well just two groups advertising in the 8-9pm time slot last night. Lowbie/ Midbe PVP: Seems nearly dead, talking to people it seems to be that it is nearly impossible to get conquest through PVP now so there is less point. The extra xp while it may have attracted some has driven others away, so much for only levelling my latest alt though pvp! I understand this week Deathmark used to be PVP week it seems now it is quite the opposite. Lets have it so people can do what they want for conquest before it kills off aspects of the game.
  3. It does feel that there might be some new hacks all of a sudden. On Darth Mal Midbees is dead this evening, 2-3 hackers ruined it last night as the night before now there are no mid lvl Warzones running something unheard of at prime time. Personally I have seen with others.. 1 count of flying 2 counts of a gunslinger tripple rolling People moving mara speed with no mara in the group for lengthy peroids A Merc with reflect working at lvl 50 (you get it in the 60's) What the game really needs is a better way to report taking 10-20 mins to file a report with full details to get nothing back feels... futile.
  4. Shift +numpad0 = Insert Shift +numpad1 = End Shift +numpad3 = Page Down Shift +numpad. = Delete Etc I suspect that is the root of the issue.
  5. I feel the pain too having merged from a server where PVP regs were of high quality to a server where anyone who can PvP does ranked. Ranked though I find is just not as tactically rewarding. Its horrific to be in a game where at the first problem 2-4 of your team quit to be replaced with others that also auto quit when they see they have joined a loosing battle thus you end up with a 4-5 vs 8 battle the entire match. If people stick around a match can be won with a weak team frequent passing/ moving around the map avoiding the zerg and distractions can all turn a bad match into a unexpected win. A challenging fight is fun win or loose, a cake walk or massacre is not. I do think something needs to be done about quitters. People quitting as soon as they load in before the match starts fine. Somene quitting in the match though needs a penalty as they are detracting from others enjoyment either that or reward staying to the end. Punitive measures 1- A few minutes of not being able to queue for PvP around 5 minutes maybe. 2- When you requeue after quitting your queued at a reduced priority, so non quitters get a quicker pop for one match over quitters. 3- Quitters next pop can only be a back filling pop Rewards 1- You stay to the end of 95% of the matches you play and you gain a title option like "The Tenacious/ Indefatigable/ persistant". 2- You back fill a loosing game that you win, do ot X number of times for an achievement. 3- A cosmetic vendor stocked with 5 random items only available for 30 seconds at the end of a match
  6. Four BT ISP LAg kicks from WZ Prog 21.28bst, one person kicked straight out, one got back in after huge spike but had been kicked for spending to long in spawn area. Another group kick 21.35 pvp Again Nov Coast, One person stayed in game others kicked all the way out
  7. It has been notable that when a few particular people get DCed in guild and have connection issues that all said people use BT as their ISP. Openreach customers do not have the same issues. It is notable that said BT ISP customers are from up and down the country. Of course the connection issues are just with the game discord/ web even other games are fine. My initial assumption was that it was a issue with BT's DNS etc but upon investigation this appears not to be the case. I used Netstat to determine the IP the SWTOR was using while the game was running. I then did a traceroute on said IP. I have continued to do so every time we have all been DCed for the last week with a few traces while the game was running well. Long story short The connection if fine right up until bioware-ic-147166-dln-b3.c.telia.net at which point it hits your firewall, there is no significant difference that I can see between a trace route when I cannot get a connection and a traceroute with everything is fine. A good connection A DCing connection So far the only limited solution we have come up with is quitting the game and reloading with a different IP address associated with SWTOR. This often works for a limited time though then you often get severe lag or DCed. Presently this a quite a large issue for a few of us and it can cause a hour of more of DCs a which point people abandon the game. The traffic is getting to your servers with out issue so do you have problems routing packets from BT, could some one look into this and get back to me? Thank you.
  8. Okay I think the best way forward is to in game mail Aurahli with you character names and I will find you, or post them up here for the same result. A quick guide how to use /who, because its far from user friendly. Typing: /who Ebon Enclave Will not work it will list everyone in your area. ie Tatooine. What you need to type is: /who Then in the 'Search Terms' box type: Ebon Enclave Then you can click the little arrow on the comments header and change it to guild name and you will be able to see all Ebon Enclave members online.
  9. Interesting, when did you try? Aurline was online 9-12 and Aurahli before that. Theres always the /who function, /who then Ebon Enclave and finally listed by guild should come up with EE members online.
  10. Yes certainly, best to whisper Aurahli, Aurline or Audry Always online Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings (ops nights) and a reasonable chance otherwise.
  11. The Ebon Enclave is recruiting! A social guild with mature players who like regular Operations, PVP and a bit of everything else. We have a public decorated Guild ship "The Ebon", and a host of helpful characters. We are looking to increase our Story mode runs to 16 man and we are always on the look out for skilled players for our HM OPS (8 man at present). TS required during OPS, just to listen and is darn handy in PvP, we are a chatty bunch. This is what you or you and your friends are looking for in a guild? Get in contact whisper/email Aurahli/ Aurline or leave a message here if you would like to know more.
  12. Abundant missions certainly do grant mission rewards, it often seems they are more frequent with abundant missions. That though may just be due to abundant missions taking less time.
  13. I ran grade 9 rich, bountiful and abundant in roughly equal measure.
  14. I noticed a while ago that slicing for missions was not the even distribution of rewards I expected. Notably allot of worthless investigation missions turned up and far less (useful for me) Scavenging missions were awarded. So I went about recording my rewards from critical lockbox missions on my characters. So some months ago I set 4 characters working as a group to see what rewards they got, these four characters were all crafters Armstech, Bio, Bio and Synth. I also set another 3 characters slicing and kept their rewards noted separately. I did this to observe if there was any correlation between crafting skills and lockbox crit rewards. A long long time later My crafters results (stopped on reaching 100 of one type of reward) 100 Diplomacy (52 Light/48 Dark) 94 Investigation 92 Treasure hunting 86 Underworld trading -------------- 51 Slicing 48 Archaeology 47 Scavenging 39 Bio-analysis My non crafters results (stopped at reaching 50 of one type then doubled for fair comparison ) 100 Investigation 92 Treasure hunting 90 Diplomacy (40 Light/50 Dark) 78 Underworld trading ------------- 48 Archaeology 42 Bio-analysis 42 Scavenging 42 Slicing So it seems your crafting profession makes little difference to your crit mission rewards (allowing for a 10% deviation due to the small sample size). One thing that does look apparent though is a notable split between high yield crit missions and low yield crit missions. Both my results showed a alarming 30 difference between the two groups, statistically notable.
  15. I have been gearing as a mitigation tank my present implant is 82 aim, 145 end, 105 shield rat, 100 Def Now I was going to upgrade to a ultimate coms implant but it has accuracy which I have been avoiding at all costs. The main stats though are tempting.. change over current implant + 79 aim, +136 End, +76 absorb rat, +88 accuracy - 105 shield rating, - 100 defence rating Are the gains in main stats worth the loss in mitigation, whats the general feeling on the matter?
