While it pains me to recommend this, if you are seeking to get legendary status, and you are sure you don't care for the story, you could get through the story by simply smashing the spacebar and pressing the 1 key for lightside, 2 key for neutral, and 3 for dark side, and then 1 or 2 for light or dark for the 2 button dialogues.

Completely anecdotal, but i'm going for legendary and noticed that when I start a new character I seem to get a good amount of Emperor's tokens as drops at first My level 18 Bounty hunter has 5 Emperor's tokens so far. If you're planning on making alts, this event might be the time. You can't mail the tokens around, but you can mail some of the rewards.
