    I followed a few pieces of advice in this thread I picked up Slicing, Bio-analysis, and Underworld Trading for GTN sales; some one also suggested that I grab that Gold (can't remember the rest) set since that person expected the prices to spike after a patch on Tuesday (as it turns out the set's already going for over 1 million credits on my server at the minimum price on a week end day).

    Wow you need a million credits just to have a decent cushion in this game, are credits worth less than post World War 1 German currency?

    Basically I started this game back when it first came out with a lvl 19 as my highest lvl character. I'm sitting on about 1100 cartel points and I'm looking to convert these points into items I can sell on the GTN for a decent credit cushion.

    I would support this there are a few sets on the Cartel Market right now that would seem like potential purchases for me but since I don't like the colors then my wallet remains closed.

    I was thinking about buying a set of cartel gear with my points after I came back but most of the gear in the market kind of looks blah atm; how often do they change things up in the market so that they have a chance of having something I might actually want to spend my points on?

    So basically Under World Trading, Investigating, and diplomacy; I heard slicing was good about a year ago.

    First life character looking to make a buck. I have no prior 50's, no bankroll of credits; what do I need to do to start bank rolling this character so that I can lvl other professions later on other characters.
