  1. I was watching the live stream - they said they aren't ruling it out down the road, but it's not planned to make additional character slots available right away.
  2. Hmmm... I thought you had to disable the tractor beam to be able to get away. Didn't remember it being bonus - been a while
  3. How do you solo Esseles? Isn't that the one where you have to hit two switches at the same time to disable the tractor beam?
  4. OK, watched this some more last night while playing. Noticed the following: 1 - Qyzen will attack whoever attacks you first, but if you CC that mob he will switch to someone else. 2 - If I stop attacking a mob (to heal myself/someone else, etc.), and another mob is attacking him, he will usually break off the one he is fighting and go to that other one. 3 - The hotkey to make him attack something that I specify does not work for me, unless I use it to start combat. If we are already fighting and he switches to something I don't want him fighting yet, I spam that attack key and he will not break off what he is fighting no matter what.
  5. Don't have Theran yet, but I'm doing Nar Shaddaa now, so it won't be long. I played for about an hour tonight, and it does appear that Qyzen is leaving combat when he thinks the battle is won. Strange I hadn't noticed that before, but when you have two companions and fighting 5-6 mobs, things get chaotic Thanks for all the help guys.
  6. Ah, I was left-clicking the green square... maybe it should have been right-clicked Thanks for the help guys! I'll try it out tonight. With melee mobs it's not a problem as you CC one and the rest run towards you, but a lot of droid mobs are blaster-types and that doesn't work so well.
  7. Running with a Sage/Shadow/2xQyzen group a lot this weekend. For the most part it went really well, but we have two problems that we hit a lot. 1 - Qyzen does an AoE attack, meaning any form of crowd control I'm trying is instantly broken. Is there a way to shut that attack off? I can't seem to unclick it on his hotbar 2 - Qyzen seems to change targets a lot. Is there a way to make him stick to one target until it's dead?
  8. I've been seeing this a lot the past couple of weeks, both in flashpoints and in world content. I usually run a Shadow/Sage/Qyzen/Qyzen group. One Qyzen stands around doing nothing nearly half the fights.
  9. My Sage hit 20 this morning and I'm wanting to go through my gear and upgrade where I can (still wearing boots from Tython for example ). Is there a site that lists equipment available by class and/or slot, including craftables? I found tor-loot which shows drops from flashpoints, but I'm looking for a more comprehensive list than just flashpoint gear. Does anyone know if there is such a site?
  10. Check your in-game mail. My characters had the founder token in there, but for some reason there was no email notification showing up when I logged in. It's like the game thought I'd already read the mail, so it was in my mailbox, but not showing up as "new mail" on the UI.
  11. I read on another board that the only way to get this is to go to the Sith Academy at level 1, but I've never been able to confirm it. Every time I've tried it, I level up killing Slugs on the way (it's either that or die).
  12. Was this in the patch message? I never thought to check it as I gave up on /follow working... gotta try this out
  13. So if we put a 60-day card on our account on December 20th (since we couldn't play without a credit card/game card on our accounts) does that qualify us? Or do we have to do another one before March 18th? As it is, with the 30 days free + a 60 day card, we are paid up to March 20th. Would hate to miss the title because I put a game card in 1 day late or something...
  14. I wondered about that too - at the end of the early preview (release day) I could not play any more until I either entered a game card or a credit card. I entered a 60-day game card, which gave me 90 days play on my account (30 days free + 60 days game card). Will that qualify me for Founder? Or do I have to do another game card before March 19th? Not a big deal, since my other will expire on March 20th, and I'll need to resubscribe, but would be nice to know definitively one way or the other.
  15. In my experience: 1 - if the leader hits autorun, /follow breaks 2 - if there is any unevenness in the terrain (even slightly), /follow breaks. Sometimes, even if the color of the terrain changes, it seems to break. 3 - if you go on a bridge/lift, /follow breaks 4 - if the lead character is moving at all, /follow breaks 5 - if the sun is up during the day, /follow breaks Ok... so the last 2 may be exaggerations, but basically /follow simply does not work. I have never had a char /follow another for more than about 3 seconds. Ever!
  16. What I don't understand is that companions pretty much follow flawlessly with companions. I would think the same logic would hold true for players. And yes, I have used /follow in every game I've ever played. I do 2-box once in a while if I can't find a group, just so I'm not stuck on a quest I can't solo. But follow is useful in lots of situations outside of 2-boxing.
