I didn't know Solid Snake did the voice, but I don't mind it at all.
The scripting is lame sometimes but Hayter is consistent. My favourite voices is probably BH, but even that is a bit lame sometimes. The female voices are good?

The game looks like a dungpile, so it will look like a dungpile. Try something that will challenge your new rig like Metro2033 or BF3
Comparing a massively multiplayer online RPG to Metro2033 or BF3 is a fail. I have both, and yes they are sexy, but it's like comparing chess to laser tag.
SWTOR looks fine on max depending on your area. The models aren't that much better than Hellgate London or PS2, I agree with that much, but with a 24" I dunno, I get immersed in the scenery and the combat. I can see how it would look completely horrible on some rigs.
And OP, the 9500 is a step under the 8800gt which was what I upgraded like 2 years ago so the rig you posted will not only max this game but will bring you good adventures with new titles as well.

Hey,
I'm enjoying the class, I just find myself confused by a few things. I'm nearly level 20.
What level do I start getting plated armor or at least plated robes or robes with the hood down?
I've been investing into the tanking tree, but I am just in it for questing 'til 50, as I don't really like pvp. Everyone's racing ahead of me so I don't get to be tank ever it seems so I'm unsure if I should go dps or stay tank. So far I've been able to solo heroics or w/e they are called 3-4 levels ahead of requirement with my companion. Gold enemies are a bit harder though. All in all, I've always liked the idea of dishing DPS. I am interested in tanking end-game. I haven't put one point into dps and I'm torn between vigilance and focus.
What kind of difference would it be from tank tree for 19 levels and what tree do you recommend? Thanks a lot

Look at it this way.
It's the Star Wars, you're an aspiring Jedi Knight at a fork in the road.
You have the choice of either Guardian or Sentinel. While they are both Peacekeepers, the Guardian is more of a warrior-protector while the Sentinel is more of a rogue-assaulter. In heavy armor, the Guardian also has the option to buff, weaken armor, taunt it's foe and offensively as well as defensively deal single sabre damage. Sentinel, in medium armor, is more of a raw damage dealer with swift dual-wielding capabilities.
I chose Guardian because I usually enjoy tanking, and this time around it doesn't feel as definitive with it's tank and dps status. I find that I feel like a main component in combat and am able to deal a fair amount of damage while still upholding my defensive capabilities. Most of my friends chose Sentinel and I'm the only Guardian in my guild. I think they're both good choices so I'm glad it's a hard decision for others.

Okay, so you're posting to let others only come to assume that you couldn't run the game, so you quit, or it wasn't of your preference. I don't understand the purpose of such posts.
To incite talks of preference, I'll have to say that this is the most refreshing MMORPG release in years, and I'm after having played Warhammer, Age of Conan and Rift, and WoW and Phantasy Star Online in the past. Initially, I'm enjoying this more than I enjoyed WoW and I played that game since 2005 until 2011. I just enjoy voice acting, less than mundane quests with objects that give bonuses and the visual finesse of Star Wars.
I only see good things coming to this game at present.
Anyone Dislike Jedi knight voice acting?

This, but then again I'm thankful that they have so many hours of scripted voice acting. The most of not only any video game but of any entertainment period.
"Star Wars: The Old Republic looks set to scoop a number of awards, but it’s starting the mantlepiece collection off early with its name in the Guinness Book of World Records 2012. It’s taken the record for most voice acting in an entertainment project. The game boasts an impressive 200,000 lines of dialogue delivered by over 200 actors."
