You could read and find out. The scenario given is that player A is clearing mobs for a chest. Player B appears out of shadows and opens the chest while player A is fighting. Player B RPs an evil person.

They way that happened to me was clearing a mob guarding a chest and a player swoops in and grabs it. I don't think points of a window popping up would be acceptable and also wouldn't be able to RP it off since its a window popping up on your screen. However, a very evil person could come up to my fantasy charecter and steal a chest from me in a fantasy world so I do think it goes with he RP as long as said player is okay with the reputation. And if the person is trying to maintain an evil reputation I doubt they are trying to be nice. You can't be nice and be the most hated sith in the word

Basically like in EVE online how you could blow up people ships they worked months on...

And considering west coast servers have queues at that hour still, I would hardly call midnight late..

Its not even... a large portion of the US (cali, and the rest of the PST) goes down at midnight.. some servers still have queues at this time. They need to perform restarts and shutdowns by splitting EU servers and US servers so we each have our own schedule. Also pushing it so its 2AM PST for US servers would make a lot more people happy then it would make upset.

What about someone stealing a chest located in the world we are "RP Living" in, which would be present and accessible to both people. Think RPing a bandit...

not true at all, sorry. I had a genuine question that was a result of a conflict that happened to me. I was curious what others though of this.

I suppose you could call it "ninja-ing" the mob. Probably just as frowned upon. And no worries

Its where you steal loot belonging to someone else, or without the others consent. Examples would be stealing a chest that someone has just cleared mods to get to, taking an item while a group is discussing who should get the loot, or otherwise cheating a person out of loot. Highly frowned upon in MMO's if you couldn't tell by responses...

I would bask in the notoriety.
