  1. You can't implement a system like this without taking into account the gear that the player receiving the item already has. Twice now, as I stated above, I've lost gear to people who are wearing the Rakata version of the item that was dropped. Either fix the system so it bases its decision on what the players have equipped/in their inventory, or just enable need/greed as normal mode Ops are the same as HM flashpoints. Both of these methods would prevent ninja looting, the former would guarantee that the people with inferior gear would receive the items they need.
  2. Twice I've run normal EV and twice I've had every single piece of gear (about 5 pieces in total) that would have been an upgrade handed to someone (a guild member, as these were both guild runs) who didn't need it and was simply helping gear out our new 50s. This is unacceptable - whoever thought of this needs to be hanged, drawn and quartered.
  3. See my post below - I'm not sure how well this spec would work while you're leveling, but it's fantastic for tanking at level 50. I have no problems with rage generation - in fact, as much as I get stunned/knocked back, I tend to have more rage during most fights http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=286160
  4. I'm a fairly new tank myself and I've found that the Immortal tree is, for lack of a better term, garbage. I thought it was my playstyle at first, but I didn't understand how I could be so ineffective while following a standard spec and rotation. One of my fellow guildies shared this Vengeance based build that I'm using and it's extremely effective. Here's the build - http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#101dMG0uZhGr0rhzdMM.1 Notable abilities you lose from the Immortal tree: Crushing Blow - Hard hitting instant attack that applies 3 stacks of armor reduction, 15s CD Force Grip - Instant Force Choke (not effective on champion/boss mobs) Shield Spec - 4% shield chance Backhand - 4 second stun, 60s CD (not effective on champion/boss mobs) Sonic Barrier - Pathetic excuse for a proc'ed shield Notable abilities you gain from the Vengeance tree: Unyielding - 4 rage gained from stun/sleep/knockdown Unstoppable - 20% dmg reduction + control/interrupt immunity for 4sec after using Force Charge Ruin - Smash costs no rage Huddle - 4% Endurance + 20% dmg reduction after using Intercede Deafening Defense - 4% all-around dmg reduction and decreases CD of Intimidating Roar by 15sec Impale - Hard hitting instant attack with a bleed effect (CD reduced to 9sec from Vengeance - clearly better than Crushing Blow) Vengeance - Reduces the CD of Impale by 6sec and Force Scream by 3sec This build is awesome for doing dailies and I can tank flashpoints and normal mode operations better than I could before.
  5. If your computer is using that much of your pagefile it probably means you have far too many processes running in the background, which could simply be taxing your processor or causing disk thrashing. If Windows is setting your pagefile to 10GB, something is terribly wrong. Manually set it to match the amount of RAM you have in your computer. If your video card is sharing 2GB of memory with your computer, set the pagefile to 6GB. It doesn't look like you do, but, if you have a secondary drive (not an external drive or a secondary partition, but an actual second hard drive) I'd recommend forcing the pagefile to that drive as well. And you should still post a report from HijackThis so we can see what/how many processes are running.
  6. Grab HijackThis, scan and post the results. It's definitely not a hardware issue, unless you have bad memory or something. http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/
