  1. *grin* in the Star Wars "Universe" a nerf is a deer-like creature that has been used as mounts. In the Gaming world a "Nerf" is a restriction of a skill or skill set that is thought to be Overpowered thus the sill gets "Nerfed" I do beleive it comes from a line of people using nerf-bats instead of sabers
  2. Greetings. 48 here...Forced retirement (Doctors Orders) but I have 13 years in the photo field, 8 years in IT, 1 year in Call Center Tier II operations, under my belt. Plus a multitude of other jobs tucked in here and there. I was there when Star Wars was just called Star Wars and not "Star Wars: A new hope" yes Han shot first. I remember when... Computers were programmed with punch cards and punched paper tape. There was no internet but a bunch of BBS's where you had to call in to connect to someone elses PC to play a Text base Roleplay game. Service stations actually gave you service, oil and tire pressure check, clean the windshild and all. There were no helmets, knee pads or Soccor moms telling you to stop riding your big wheel down the hill, up a ramp and into the lake. and many other crazy things... Sorry I do tend to ramble on at my OLD age....anyway I enjoy playing with the younger crowds some of them actually act like real adults at times.... Too those of you I meet have fun...Life is a Journey!!! May the Schwarz be with YOUUUUUUuuuuUUUUUu........."what a world, what a world, what a world"
  3. "Get on top of it." Luke said, "I can't." said Leia. Epis. IV

  7. Here's to hoping your serious, but no I don't think you will be able to play over dial-up. If trolling. Sure you can play it with dial-up and with an old Commador 64, with VGA monitone monitor. Here's some grins..... In service to Fandom and Universal Gaming...I am...
  8. They did not charge you $5 for early game access. Your $5 was a reservation fee, a place holder. This will be absorbed when you pay off your game. Where I payed for mine preorder I had to pay $25 for the CE. The next month I paid it off in full and the fee was absorbed into my cost. The code you entered held your place in that you pre-ordered before the 20th. I gives you EGA but depending on when you entered your code as was stated in the advertisements you may get up to 5 days EGA. Anyway I bought mine on July 21st but didn't enter my code until sometime in september so I know I may not get many days of EGA but who knows. See you sometime between now and the 20th launch day. In service to Fandom and Universal Fandom. I am...
