  1. As a software developer I can assure you that this shouldn't be as hard as you believe. Then again, hero engine sucks on so many levels that it wouldn't really surprise me if such a simple task was made impossible somehow. But yeah, that feature where you can't get 2 matches in a row is pretty useless anyway. They should just separate the queues for 4v4 and 8v8 unranked warzones and that's it.
  2. I play empire because jedi are hypocrites and I like the sith lore and teachings more than the jedi ones. Also kaas city is the coolest city EVER!!!!11!! It isn't just "evil is cool". In this case, it feels like their graphic artists put more effort into making evil look cool.
  3. Uh, didn't you read the rest of my post? I'm saying matches against republic are one sided and boring in regs because they simply stomp the average empire team. But yeah, I understand what you're saying. Apparently people don't think so though.
  4. This couldn't be more accurate, especially #3 and #4. Unranked republic teams are so insane nowadays. It's been so long since I've seen an unguarded sage that I'm beginning to think bioware secretly added a "pet guardian" as a level 60 ability to healer sages.

For extra fun, let's also remind that an official post from BW said that they don't have any plans of doing anything to fix pvp in near future Instead, they buff heals, because that will certainly bring millions of players to the game and magically fix all the problems caused by low population.
  6. Eh, I don't really feel anything towards hutball. BUT I am EXTREMELY happy that 4v4 warzones are out of the queue! I only enjoy 8v8 pvp in this game and I always hoped that they'd add an option to exlude 4v4 from warzone queue. Like in most other mmos, unranked 4v4 should be a different queue. It is a very different gameplay than 8v8. I understand not allowing us to queue for specific warzones, but 4v4 and 8v8 are not similar at all. If I liked 4v4 I'd be doing ranked anyway. Especially the unranked 4v4 wzs are horrible. I'd prefer staring at walls in my house than playing unranked 4v4 warzones. It's funny how the devs forgot the ptr test code on, lol. Tells something about their QA team...
  7. Well, maybe pvp is skewed towards the empire in rankeds, but I don't think that's the case in 8v8. I play empire at tomb of freedon nadd since launch and, since 2.0, republic dominates empire at max level 8v8 warzones. Usually the matches against republic teams are boring and one sided. Thankfully empire population is much higher so we usually get empire vs empire matches which are actually a lot more fun because teams tend to be balanced.
  8. Regs are extremely boring since 3.3 hit. Every team has multiple healers and no one dies. Is this really their idea of "fun"? Players treating each other like dummies and just doing rotations because no one dies anyway? I played the most boring warzone/battleground in my life today and I'm playing mmorpgs since a decade ago. In alderaan, we got snow, they got grass, mid uncaptured and that's it. Bg ended when one of our stealthers managed to steal their turret. Guess people were that bored at that point and stopped caring, lol. Both teams had 3 healers by the way. At the end of the slowest alderaan I've seen in my life, there were like 4-5 deaths total. This is retarded. I don't care if people are bad, if they suck, if they're retarded etc. Players should die and respawn. PvP shouldn't be like this.
  9. Yeah I'm aware that our class sucks for ranked right now, thanks for clarifying it. Maybe my post made it look like I was saying vengeance was awesome in ranked, that wasn't my intention They did nothing in 3.3 so we can only hope something changes in 4.0.
  10. True, rage isn't THAT squishy, but Vengeance has better defenses. Vengeance gains %20 damage reduction after charge + stun immunity for 4 seconds. Vengeance also has a %5 passive damage reduction from tree, %15 damage reduction during endure pain, reduced cooldown on area taunt and increased movement speed with shien. On the other hand, Rage has %3 reduction from shiicho and can clear snares with intercede. Rage also has obliterate which provides nice mobility, which is very cool against snipers. Still, I think vengeance has much better survivability and utility overall. I feel like I die much faster as rage than vengeance when multiple players target me.
  11. Hi, I'm a casual juggernaut pvp'er since launch, first time dropping to forums. I'm saying "casual" because I don't play ranked. 4v4 simply doesn't appeal to me no matter how much I wanted to get "serious". Wish they hadn't removed 8v8 ranked... Anyway, having played with both surge and alacrity, personally I prefer focusing surge over alacrity. That's mostly because, as I've said, I only play 8v8. I also switch to rage sometimes and I don't want to bother with 2 different sets. I'm also running 0 crit rating, because it is kinda useless for rage tree. Also I'm not feeling much weaker in vengeance in 8v8 since I dropped to 0 crit, though I admit I feel bad when my ravage only crits once every century, lol. If I went ranked I'd certainly go for more alacrity. I think our only viable ranked dps build is focusing on dot spread with alacrity rather than insane bursts, because we aren't capable of those insane bursts sins & pts can do. While a properly geared rage jugg can actually do some really funny bursts, it simply lacks the utility and survival of a pt or sin while also doing less damage and is not really viable for 4v4. At least that's what I think from my 8v8 experiences. As I said I don't have much 4v4 experience and I'm sure there are more experienced players in 8v8 than me, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
