I wasted money on my last build. Snapped my CPU because I stubbed my toe. That was $1500 down the drain.
-
Ok, im looking for a rig in Canada that can run SWTOR Max settings, and hit atleast a steady 32 FPS.
I cant build a rig AT ALL. I need a pre-built one.
-
Yes, I love it. The gameplay is nice, the UI is easy to use.
-
Uhm, what? You might want to re-write that.
-
Its fake, I just clicked the link, and it said that there is a problem with the websites secuirity certificate.

I like to play SWTOR late at night, becuase its basically the only free time I get. When its about 2:20am in the morning and you hear a droid go "WHAAAAAAAAAA!!" and then attack you, it REALLY makes you jump. Please have an option to lower droid voice volumes ONLY. I like to hear other peoples voices, just not the droids sometimes.
-
Please for the love of all that is good, NO, I want an option to turn those off!
You want an option to turn that on, fine, but that is polarizing the game and you're asking for game resources to be pooled into already explored content just because you don't want to use Flirt options and use your imagination - that is just selfish.
And if you do get your wish and they waste their money implementing this, then I want an option not to see them, I don't want an option to hit on every male I see if my character is a male. That's right, I don't want the option, I want regular conversation options like they are running, for me - I wouldn't care at all what you would prefer to choose, but for me, I don't want to see that.
I don't want to accidentally hit on someone. I want normal, bro like interaction without being hammered with Flirt options just because someone needs it to feel accepted. That is another thing but enforcing it on others is not okay. It is as unfair to me as you perceive it unfair to you.
Bioware has long needed to separate these options into player preferences if they want to incorporate both. As it stands now, what the heck, use your imagination - we are playing a game not real life, you can use your imagination can't you? I do it all the time. These aren't real people, you perceive them and flesh them out yourself whether you think you do or not.
I hope they don't waste time with it and focus on actually building the game and stories they have currently, not polarizing it, goodness knows there are larger issues needing development attention and larger issues needing fixing. You wanna help the game? Use your imagination, turn the other cheek, etc etc. This isn't an emergency thing. It's not do or die. You get the picture. Learn some humility and put the needs of the game ahead of your own.
YES PLEASE! Make an option, I want to have MY account, that I'M paying for actually enjoyable.

Having great fun! Just had to get a better PC. so I subbed for 160 days, and im THIS close to getting my new PC. SWTOR, thank you, and thank you BioWin, I mean BioWare!

I hate to burst your bubble sport, but I have a strong feeling the population is in fact dropping. This game gets dry fast at level 50.
Nothing stops you from PVP, or creating another character right?

This should answer your question...

I have exactly the same set up except 8GB of RAM instead of 4GB. I get around 20-30 fps and if it gets really busy I'll have like 10-20 fps.
I use Gamebooster, RadeonPro, changed my .ini settings file and I made a lot of changes to Windows to optimize it for performance. I even run it in windowed mode.
What do you do to get 35-47 on lowest settings? DxDiag provided below.

I think what he means is that there is a lot of group content sprinkled in along the way. And, i t can be difficult doing some of those heroics yourself. Flashpoints would be easier to find teams for.
However, once your 50, the the main things left to do are just Dailies, PVP, and OPs. PVP you can do yourself, but OPs need not one but two groups at least
I think it's a stretch to say this is a singleplayer game, but *sigh* dare I make a WoW reference--same situation applies there. You can level all the way up yourself (and you usually do, save occasional dungeons). . . . and then their is raiding... and heroics...and ranked pvp teams
This game is meant to be social with groups =]
Thank you! you just made my day.

Wrong. Look at what I'm running (it's in the post) then come back and tell me my PC isn't good enough. Look at what other people in the thread are posting i5 2600k CPUs getting attrocious FPS. Look in some of the other threads where people are running current gen Intel hex-cores and not able to get stable FPS.
But if you feel like taking a gamble with that kind of money, good luck.
Well whatever, it could just be your mobo y'know. Upgrades could be the key to your success, or failure.

When I am away from home I play Swtor on my laptop, which is not for gaming and I get 45 FPS.
Specs
intel i-5 2450m
Intel Hd GFX 3000
6 gb ram
and everything is at medium with shadows off. /win
When I pvp I get about 20-35 fps.
Dude that is KICK ***!, how much was your laptop? and what brand is it?
-
90+ fps, on fleet, with 120ish players.
Cool. Story. Bro.
1500 spent.
I see your trolling. I asked for a rig, not for your bragging rights.
-
What are your current specs? See the thread in my signature. Basically I would not bother buying new hardware for this game. The game itself is broken.
NOT TRUE. My friend runs this game Maxed out on a 2.5GHz triple core and hits 30 FPS. It's just your PC. Only my cpu is below minimum, AMD-E350 1.6GHz dual core.
-
I am pretty hard on this game but even the current weak rig I have can easily outperform what you are asking for.
I dont want 60-100 FPS. If I hit that, great, but I want atlest 30, because 30 is playable.
-
Ok, I really want to enjoy SWTOR's storyline, along with the graphics. Its getting hard to when you can only hit 27-30 FPS on lowest settings.
I need a rig that's in Canada, that can run SWTOR maxed out and hit atleast 35 FPS.
I CAN NOT BUILD A RIG I need a pre built rig that can run it maxed out.
Thanks!
-
I wish I had a PC that can actually run this, but when I play I have to say,
BioWin!
-
After watching so many YouTube videos of SWTOR maxed out, I need a PC that can run the game Maxed out, and get atleast 40 FPS. Can anyone reccomend me a rig around $400-$550 around Edmonton Alberta? Thanks.
-
anything else i should be doing now im full battlemaster and rakata?
my guild is pretty much geared at both sides of the coin and we have literally NOTHING to do....?
bioware do you plan to add anything to keep us playing this MMO that has such potential and is wasted on voice acting that ends at 50...?
in MMO's end game is where the game starts for a large proportion of MMO players? since i have no reason to leave the fleet or nothing atall to do? what now? theres no exotic pet mounts to collect? no misc fun stuff? no gear other than what we have?
now what is my question?
i'de also like to suggest that that the raid content you provided takes less than 2 hours to complete on hard mode for both instances and a slight bit more for nightmare could i suggest a shorter lockout?
so can you atleast give me an incentive to play this game?
anything will do?
That's why you don't power through the game. Do every side quest, but take breaks, leave cliff hangers for yourself. Thats what I do, and Im now only level 24, almost 25 Guardian, and a level 21 Commando.
-
I'm not sure I understand your OP. You did a single flashpoint, and that means the game is made for groups? You do realize that you can go from level 1 to 50 without ever grouping in this game, right? I'm not trying to make any valuations on solo vs group here, just saying that I'm not seeing how this game is made for groups.
Im saying that with the Heroics, and most flashpoints, you need groups. I personally enjoy this game 10 times more with a group, preferably with a full group of mature people.
-
Don't get me wrong, SWTOR is a great game itself, I truly enjoy the Story Classes. I just got out of a 4 man group, and we did I think 5 heroics, and one flashpoint. Best fun ever! This game is clearly MADE for groups in my honest opinion.
Tell us about YOUR experience in SWTOR grouped, or non-grouped.
$400-$600 max settings

It wasnt the CPU itself, it was a Graphics card, and 1 stick of DDR3 2GB Ram. so, yeah. Honestly, im 14, really like PC's, but im REAAAAALY scared to build one. I really just want one for TOR. Thats it, Thats the only PC game I play.
EDIT: I also saved from 08 all the way to 2011. Thats when the system reccomended specs were announced. 3 years of not spending is a PAIN.
