After the new patch to buff marauders/ nerf opersatives again...
Im happy they're nerfing Operatives. (If they're actually doing it) I just get stunned, and spam shivved, over, and over again.
On topic,
I can't even log into any NA servers, only some EU servers, and all the AP servers. All I can ask is, GET ER DONE!
-
Ugh. It's so simple. Just have two character tabs. One with whatever modded gear ya need and one with whatever gear you want to be shown. Yes, I want to have trooper armor on with my jedi. This is all part of why this game is so anti social. There are some sweet helmets, robes, masks that I cant wear cause they are not light armor. I dont want the stats just the look. Individualism is a key component to mmo's. Imho.
And give us houses to decorate! I need something to do after 50!
That would be so easy to access and learn. I second this.
-
If they reduce the cost to like 1k a mod then its reasonable, but its seriously bonkers if its 23-30k to remove ONE DAMN MOD.
-
Ok, first, let me start off by saying that I love SWTOR, and I loved taking my class to 50, BUT, I find that some of the 50 gear isnt really to my liking.
I have a 50 commando, and personally, I hate the look of the level 50 gear for him, thats just MY OPINION. I would love to have the level 40 PvP gear look, but still get the set bonuses from the armor itself. I know that some 50 gear has the set bouses in the mods, but I dont have the credits, or the gear to extract them from.
That brings me to my point, could we please get a style option? Basically, you could choose what your piece of armor looks like, while still getting the stats and/or bonuses from the 50 gear itself. Its pretty self explanatory.
If anyone from BW is reading this, please take it into consideration.
Sincerley,
A Pre-50 Gear loving guy.

1. Your guild should of been talking about this for the last month or two.
2. WoW does not have guild mail but has a calendar and guess what it does have a guild announcement area which so does SwTor and it pops up on the screen when you log in...try harder
3. Guild websites---yep you can make those
4. I guess I have bonded with the ppl in my guild I can email, txt, facebook, or even call key members but of course I did not meet all my guildies through this game but others as well.
5. Create groups that transfer from servers first, while you, the guild master, wait for the other guild members to come on.

At lowest for sure. Medium, your pushing it. I wouldnt even waste the money though, SWTOR isnt enjoyable at lowest settings.

Server: Jedi Covenant
Republic/Imperial Fleet: 150-250 people on. 60 at worst.
Coruscant/Dromund Kaas: 150-300 people, 120 at worst
It just goes on and on. 'Nuff said.
EDIT: I just checked Ilum. There was 130 people on it.

pwned, kid ? haha nothing this game is just a fail and it's a shame we have to pay to play this crap end of the story
400 000 subs lose and devs doesn't care at all no serve merge no ranked pvp and you wanna talk to me xD ?
i mean comon face the reality you pay for a bad game
Dude, this game was released 6 months ago, its still considered new. And, BTW, your SUB has cost them a total of $60. They're already making billions from the million+ players paying $60 for a game that they enjoy. Just one last thing to add,
uMadBro?

Of course not. Do you even know how much time it takes to patch a game? Let alone find bugs and, find fixes for bugs that may or may not work, and then have to shut down servers, input the patch in 4 hours, and then throw the server switch back on? If it was released this month, people would be ************ because it was rushed, and that there's still so many bugs, and then more, and more threads about un-subbing wold be created. Ask yourself this, "If I complain, will it make my game expierience more enjoyable?"

SSD is just for loading times, if you upgrade RAM to 8GB or up, you'll see a major difference in loading times. Now, if you upgrade to SSD, you'll see a massive gain in loading times. You'll go from 1 minute loading times, to 5 seconds. Also, Id upgrade your CPU to an i7 2600, or AMD Phenom II X6 Six Core 1090T Black Edition. The CPU, and just RAM upgrade will only cost you around $140-$200. I wouldn't go with SSD unless you're a major gamer, and very, very impatient with loading times.
EDIT: For GPU, I would go with Nvidia GTX 580 WINDFORCE. Here's my Rig
Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 Six Core 1090T Black Edition @ 4.1GHz
Motherboard: ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX
Ram: Muskhin DDR3 8GB @ 1600MHz
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 580 WINDFORCE 3X @ Stock clocks
Solid State Drive: Patriot Wildfire 120GB
Hard Drive: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
Power supply: Corsair HX 850W
Case Silverston Raven RV02 with the air penetrator fans
It runs BF3, TOR, LOTR: WITN, Crysis 1, 2, Halo 2, Batman AA, and AC maxed out for a minimum of 60FPS. It never drops below 60. It can jump to 78-123 FPS , so I just cap it at 60, so its a steady 60 no matter what.

Halo's soundtrack has to be the most repetative soundtrack I have ever heard. "Duh duh duh deh duh, duh duh duh deh, duh de duh, Chief, we won!, I need a weapon." There's no sense of importance to what you were doing at all. Star Wars feels completley different, it has ambiance. Now, this is just my opinion, so don't quote me on this.

They think that they're invulnerable, and quit the group right after they die. Then diss you in general chat.

I absoluley love Kira, but unfortunatley, she takes very little aggro. Im not saying replace her, im saying increase her threat generation a bit.
-
Could we please get a release date? Me, im straight, but I have a bisexual sister who loves Star Wars, and since she's in college 3 days away, she really wants to play with me, she'll only play after this is released though.
So, some clarification would be nice.

You know I just posted this thread on the next page. On topic, yes I support this.
-
I just bought Kira Carsen customizations, and I cant see it, because unfortunatley I can't hide her helmet. I think we'd all like the idea of being able to hide companion headgear.

The 6310 will probably be able to play the game easily at a resolution of 1080p. I'm amazed at how you managed to build this rig so cheaply for me it is just above £340, which is incredible for a gaming PC.
On the other point of multicore processors, it seems to work fine for me CPU usage is at about 30-35% when I'm playing, which I presume is roughly 2 cores I suppose. But I did overclock my CPU from 2.8GHz to 3.8, so that may have quite a big impact on performance.
This is pre built, not custom. I didn't feel like spending the time of ordering each part this time.
-
on multicore processors, how many cores swtor uses ? 2 or 4. afaik if u use x6 and the game uses only 2 core, the cpu will boost the speed of the active 2 core?
If you have 6 core, or 3 core, or 4 core, or whatever core, you need to set the affinity, or how many CPU cores it can use. It uses 6 on my PC, so I get smoother FPS
-
I dont have a 1080p monitor yet, and yeah its integrated, but im getting a Radeon 6310 very soon
-
Got my new PC today (passed my custom built one down to my brother.) and I have benchmarked the AMD Phenom X6 1065T from Tython, to Alderaan. Average FPS 65-70. This is a great rig for only $559.99 CDN.
Settings:
Everything High
AA Off
Resolution 1366x768
Bloom On
Conversation Depth of Field On
Grass 50
Trees 100
Rig:
CPU: AMD Phenom x6 1065T 2.9GHz
6GB DDR3 RAM
AMD Radeon 4250
1.5TB HDD
This is an amazing, cheap, and easily upgradable rig, for an avid gamer who wants to expierience the galaxy at its best.

GPU Upgrade help
in Community Content
Posted
I currently have Nvidia GeForce GT 520 1GB Dedicated GPU, but I run the game on the settins I would prefer not to. (Shader Complexity low, AA off, Shadows off, everything else maxed. 1440x900 Resolution 30-60FPS)
If I upgrade to a GT 630 2GB, would I be able to run maxed out, AA off, getting atleast a steady 30 FPS?
Thanks for the help.
