One idea that I thought might be good would be a "Combat Protocol Upgrade" for the Ship Droid, so he could use Blaster Rifles(For people who would want a combat droid before they can get HK) and the scene of you applying the combat protocol could be hilarious, the Ship Droid could be like "Noooo you're going to void the warranty!" Furthermore you could include customization options for the Ship Droid, such as the various protocol and combat droids.
One of the things I found disappointing was the vibroblades, they were either over the top or a brass rod that has lights attached. The Knights of the Old Republic were great because they were simplistic, yet vicious, you could have the Vibroblade, Vibrosword and the Double-Bladed Vibroblade, and even include unique variants such as Ajunta Pall's Vibroblade. And perhaps even include unique Kotor style weapons, such as Malak's Lightsaber, Bastila's Lightsaber and Calo Nord's and Carth Onasi's Blasters. Perhaps even include a short-bladed lightsaber.
