Hey guys and gals!
I have done quite some PvPing with MM from the start. Compared to other classes I have encountered that got buffed a lot play style wise the thing a MM sniper is lacking is a self heal. Our survivability is even worse then it was before - playing Arenas now you are either sitting around surviving as long as your CDs last, trying to get some medals damage wise or running around hunted by the assasins and operatives surviving 7 secs longer. (No thank you I don t need advice on how to l2p). We are good damage wise, no arguing with that.
But almost all other classes got buffed regarding their escape abilities and/or damagewise, so snipers don't have the edge anymore. It is even worse when the matchmaking decides you don't need a healer in your pvp team. And for the developer who decided that snipers only have to do WHITE DAMAGE - there is a special place in hell for you!
I know the sniper was designed to do damage form afar and if let alone you can kill everything. Point being any decent pvp player will target you first. Assasins and operative being your worst nightmare, followed by guardians and then sorcerers. Why did you give sorcerers so many self heal abilities and snipers none again (mind you same range? bubbles, more bubbles and selfheal?)
Maybe it plays out better once we are fully geared, but as to now my pvp experiences are quite horrid.
