  1. How can you justify nerfing the damage of tracer missle at all? When it comes down to it i do almost 1K on a single rapid shot that i can do while i run around, fall, jump you name it. So the base damage of the class is high because somewhere in the definition of bounty hunter somone at bioware read "stationary artillery cannon" which is precisly what we shouldn't be. were supposed to be quick agile and smart, why does a sniper have better melee stuns/attacks than me. Was my bounty hunter never trained in hand to hand combat? i should be able to arm bar you and punch you but instead a sniper can? And a sniper can dodge rounds? last time i checked snipers dont stand thier weaving they sit still, i would expect a bounty hunter to do the weaving. I just dont understand where this class came from. But i love my bounty hunter in the end, hes a machine. I rolled a sniper and they give up dps for being more mobile (seems wrong? check out any tree but marksman) as well as the glitchy cover hopping where i cant tell if im in or out of cover when i get hit by anything that looks like a knockback.
  2. I started playing pyrotech for a little change on my PVP outlook.

And no matter what you say it can not compare to what my Arsenal spec was. I mean whatever you say the damage is not the same i odnt understand where people feel this becasue from what i have seen and done i cannot burst nearly aswell.

    TD doesnt beat HSM

    PS doesnt beat TM

    unload is better in arsenal

all i gain some crappy dot that really doenst do much but waste 25 heat while i run around and then fire my blasters at people

    What i lose

    - NO ARMOR PEN (tanks used to be scared now they laugh)

    - Good heat control

    - Survivablity with power barrier

After playing for a couple of days i ask my self this, why is it so broken and the answer i came up with is that it would simply be fixed if Thermal detonator was an elemental effect and benifited from the talent Burnout, then maybe it would be balanced. This would change the playstly to burn people down to that then hit them up instead of hoping you do enough dmg that they cant run far enough to thier healer before toyur dots tick and would provided a nice contrats in startegy to all the other classes that they just fight back till they are almost dead and pop heals ( im talking to you smugglers).

Please Bioware i hope you read this and make this change, it will add a new fun element to the game that will stop some of the B.S. moves BH are prone to receiving in combat (interupts, stealths 4 or 5 differnet CC's pulls pushes insta heals)

    Or....

My other idea to balance a BH is to have a skill that acts like entrenchment using our jetpack we call it Reverse thrusters and that allows us to stay up top on the catwalks, we just get manhandled alot for no good reason.

  3. @ OP

Do not post useless base less arguments to why someone clicked and made and "accident". merley because you are to short sighted to relaized any one can use almost any gear out there for companions ect. and its not the game makers right to decided who gets what if you put in our time as a player you get to decided otherwise we would all be standing in government soup lines.

have fun i hope other people ninja loot from you, so you can learn the next time around, some of us take longer to learn than others :p

  4. My answer to this after trying a couple different set ups is the magic numbers 7 - 31 - 3 take improved vents + all the way up to full critical reaction. properly geared you will always have this buff up. and the other three points go in to tech crit on the pyrotech side again to help with this. This build increases your crit as well as shortening your casting time. Anything else is not affecting your dps the way this can (6% endurance is not a factor i have 18K+ health already).
  5. I make all my money in cybertech from selling Columi grade Ear pieces.

I am the only one on my server who can make the pieces and i sell them for about 200K a pop on the GTN

I raid every week and i get any where from 2 - 7 data cubes per week netting me a total average revenue of 1 million a week. This takes no effort what so ever i get 3 - 5 hits everytime im in the fleet and post them in general.

  6. Is this honestly so hard to understand? Obviously they respecc to fill different roles.

    Example:

"Hey, we're gonna do an operation now Bob, could you go healer?"

"Yeah sure, always happy to help out" *respecc*

"Tom showed up Bob, his healing gear is a bit better than yours, would you mind going dps for the rest of the operation?"

    "Yeah sure!"*respecc*

    2 hours laters

"Bob, come heal us in pvp dude!"

    "On my way guys!"*respecc*

1 hours later: Bob wants to do his daily quests, but sadly they take a long time for him in healing specc, so he switches to dps again *respecc*

After finishing his daily quests, Bob tries to find a group for flashpoints, but everyone is looking for healers, noone wants a dps! *respecc*

(This happens 3-4 nights a week when Bob plays with his friends)

So judging by the comments in this thread, it is wrong to want to enjoy all the roles your class can fill without going broke. It is wrong to be able to step up and help your friends in different roles on a daily basis.

Its called an MMO for a reason. Im not sure you understand there are other people who can help you, fill in the roles that your missing or replace you. So as with any real world situation chose a nitch and stick with it thats hw you play the game.

An if bioware reads this please do not change this system for people to do this. Let them make costly decisions so maybe they can learn a bit from it. THe only time that a respec should be cheap is once you hit 41, 50 and whenever a large change in the talent tree happens in a patch
