  1. Force Stasis/Choke Leap Master strike + Crippling Throw immobilize in combat tree Focus gets another leap Cauterize is an auto snare You couple that with all of your defensive cooldowns and you are pretty hard to stop.
  2. Thats DPS rotation. You also have two stuns, leap(15 sec cd), defensive abilities to keep you alive and constant snares.
  3. Go watchman. Im level 27 and i wreck in PvP as that spec. Rotation is simple: Charge > Cauterize > Zealous strike> Overload saber : 3 attacks Thats enough to get anyone down to about 20-30%. I have a lvl 11 alt Operative and his rotation(DPS wise) is about the same diversity wise. He jsut happened to get his CC's really early and theres a lot to do even at level 11.

    My final thoughts

The option is up to me but the incentive is not. I will pay but i need a reason. At the moment i feel like I bought a $60 Single player game with some multiplayer aspects. Its awesome, and i dont regret it, but its not monthly fee worthy for me. At least not in its current state.

    My final thoughts

I play competitive gaming and I was gladiator in WoW and played counter-strike in CAL-M. I really enjoy this game and i want to continue playing it, but right now i feel like i payed $60 for MASS EFFECT : Star Wars. What keeps me(personally) going is PvP and not just warzones. I dont have a problem with stuns or OP or any ranged classes being OP. I play sentinel, and so far its not as bad as people say, in fact i think I might be a little OP 1v1. I do, however, have a problem with two things: 1) Ability lag. Its been stated before and ill say it again:find a solution. I got used to it, but it really is a nuisance that cannot exist in a PvP environment. Im not asking for a fix tomorrow, but at least say "we are looking into it" and let us know you care. We have heard nothing so I am to assume its not a priority, which in my case is a bad sign. but more importantly: 2) A reason to play at level 50. What did i do in WoW @ max level? The answer is Arenas and World PvP. I raided maybe once a month. Right now i am enjoying the leveling(i hated WoW leveling, so props there!) but i really want an incentive to hit level 50. If it where not for the awesome leveling experience, i would have dropped this game. What is my ambition to hit level 50? That is the question you guys should answer for us PvP'ers. If my incentive is to que up with 4 people and dominate level 20s, then ill pass. I want a competitive experience. I dont want spend time leveling for 2 hours of ganking gratification. You have a great game, i love it and cant keep myself from playing it. But that is only because i am leveling and your leveling system is awesome. But for my monthly subscription, what do you have in store for me to come back?
  6. Anger(rage) leads to hate, hate leads to suffering, suffering leads to the dark side. You should roll a sith warrior.
  7. Ya there would probably be some kind of cap on how many people can fight in a territory. Im sure there are ways to make it work. Im definitely not a fan of wintergrasp scaling, so a cap would be much better.
  8. 1) Fighting for planets: there could be planets dedicated to PvP battles. Republic vs Empire. Guilds would control territory and if a planet is fully controlled it is locked out and belongs to whichever side controls it. These planets would even work on PvE servers, as the planets themselves would essentially be giant Warzones. So in essence, multiple Guilds would be battling each other on any given planet, and if one Empire has control of every territory, the planet gets locked out for a set amount of time and those guilds are rewarded for the territory they control. 2) Arenas? I was competitive in WoW, but even i don't like Arenas. I only did Arena's because thats how you knew who was good. Id much rather have giant epic battles like Guild vs Guild or the planet idea above. The concept of a que-able skirmish type map for small parties is not a bad one. Maybe a BG for 4 players that mimics arenas, but is for pre-made vs pre-made fighting? I am enjoying this game, but I am a PvP'er and for my subscription to continue i would really like having something to do end-game. These are just my suggestions.
  9. I was combat and enjoying it, but i gotta say watchman is incredible DPS. I suggest everyone try it out
  10. Your taking the class as a whole and comparing it to different specs. Watchman: the long haul. Dots/pressure. Combat: Quick burst and immobilization/cooldown management. Balance: Constant movement/relentless assault. There are various forms of CC as well. I really dont want my class to turn into a 3 button faceroll contest like wow, therefore these posts really frustrate me.
  11. Well right now i have rebuke and saber ward. With both of those up i am nearly invincible. I havent been noticing too much CC. A lot of CC from ranged DPS breaks on damage. The CC that doesnt break on damage(stuns) are usually channeled abilities, such as my force stasis. That spell on its own is really good, but it only feels OP when another teammate is doing their most powerful attack while you channel. On its own its just a decent ability. Ive got leap on a 15 sec CD, a channeled stun and then when i hit a higher level i even have a ranged immobilize ability that just sounds really powerful. The trick, really, is to not run into 50 people on your own and expect to win. Scout the target you want and engage as the battle happens. You dont wanna be too far from your teamates in this game.
  12. Most stuns i notice are channeled. That means its not OP unless you are already outnumbered.
  13. I agree with hutball. If both teams know what they are doing it creates an awesome gameplay where passes happen and people all around are doing interesting things. Although aoe knockbacks are kind of annoying and the fire seems to do too much damage. Regardless, its an interesting BG.
  14. I agree taht at the core melee is a harder spec to play vs Ranged. I came into warzones with a level 10 trooper and spammed AOE for top DPS, whereas i dont always get top DPS on my melee classees. However, that said, melee classes have a large role to play. I play a sentinel and all i do is chase healers and ranged classes around. There's not much they can really do to stop me and i dont even have a lot of my really powerful abilities yet(level 23).
  15. This game has awesome PvP. Don't throw it away by what you read on forums or by abandoning the competitive aspects.
