  1. Yeah, I got shanked... I canceled my auto renewal earlier in the month - before the Legacy patch. Despite the fact that I was still active when Legacy was rolled out, had 1 level 50 and legacy level 16, I got nothing. Oh well; I was getting tired of submitting 2 or 3 bug reports a week, anyway.
  2. That is the only thing keeping me going. Some of the twists are interesting. Unfortunately, when I do try the create a "personality" for my toon, very few of the options are good matches to what I want. Oh well, can't cover everything. This is what I find boring. Grinding the exact same thing EVERY day just to get a shiny trinket. Feel free to get your value from seeing how far you can push your character. I'll get my value from exploring the breadth of the game.
  3. I'm a self-admitted alt-o-holic. It finally dawned on me why I'm getting burned out. Put simply, it is always the same. I hate to do it, but I will use WoW as an example of doing it right. In WoW; First: Create the character. You begin in your race's starting point. (Humans start in Northshire). Then you can go to Elwyn Forest, then Westfall, then Redridge, etc. OR, you can choose to go somewhere else, like visit the dwarves or the elves. If you get bored with one area, there is somewhere else you can go. To a limited degree it still applies to BC, WotLK, and Cata. They all had a few zones of equivalent levels you could choose from. With SWToR, you can not! The quest/planet path is laid out. <EDIT>With the exception of the starting planet,</EDIT> everyone in a faction visits the same planets in the same order, every time. Yes, there are some very welcome class detours that pop-up, but they are just one quest and then you are back to the same grind. The handful of class-specific quests on each planet are good, but to continue to level up, you have to keep running the same old quests, repeatedly. I mean, how many times do I have to recover the rak-goul serum for those people? Unfortunately, there is no easy solution to this. It would require a lot more planets and a lot more quests to add variety and spice to the leveling process.
  4. I'm on a Low Pop server and have mixed feelings about it. While I'm "story" questing, I love it. I can, generally, get all of the kills I need, easily. The quest bosses are almost always there (ready to be killed). Then I pick up a couple of group quests/flashpoints, and there are fewer people on the planet than they recommend to run the quest. As a result, my alts have virtually 0 Social Points with no real prospects of of getting any, which is kind of annoying ... so much neat social gear. So, yes, I'd like the LFG option... I get the benefits of questing on my low pop server with the ability to group up when needed. The market place is almost dead, too, but oh well.
  5. I agree, it would be appreciated if the quest markers were color coded. At minimum, differentiate the Heroics and Flashpoints from normal and story-line quests.
  6. I don't know what you have planned for for your "Legacy" levels, but a "banking" system would be greatly appreciated. One of the most annoying, and common, aspects of games like this is moving items between your characters. A "legacy bank" is obvious and natural. More controversial would be the access to the bank between factions. From my point of view, it shouldn't matter. I know people that already use the Hutta network to move items and money between their toons, so the Legacy bank just makes the process easier.
  7. This is the first thing in the game to truly 'tick' me off! Tyresius Lokai is a bounty on my "Great Hunt"; and he makes me chase him all over Tatooine. I truly hate this 'thing'. I believe that the only "Dark Side" points I have where my choice to try to kill him. He puts on a little "begging" show and Mako decides we need to keep him alive. So, now, I have this continual reminder of a failed bounty in my face. I don't want him to breath, let alone, be a member of my crew and on my ship! There is no way that I, as a Bounty Hunter, would take someone I want to kill as a crew member. He should be dead - period. I guess I have to keep him - but he will permanently be listed as "guest" on my ship. Please, let there be a way to kick him out the airlock! I truly hope that you will not force any other crew members upon me. You can do that to a "good" trooper, because good troopers follow orders. There is no good way to force a Mercenary to take a crew member.
  8. In general, I really enjoy the game, but as always, there are a few things that I'd like to see improved. 1: The female run animation is too "girlie". My female trooper runs like a girl from Baywatch. This is a soldier dedicated to wiping out the enemy, physical training is part of that, so I'd like her to move like a trained athlete. I think that DC Universe has a much better running animation. 2: I think that the "unlock" for the "waypoints" and Taxis should be removed. It should be automatic: If I see it on my mini-map, I should be able to make it back. It is annoying to realize that you forgot to unlock one and run back to do it. 3: Maybe I just haven't found it yet, but character re-customization would be nice. Re-rolling, just to change a few physical options (that don't affect game play) isn't ideal. I know that these are relatively minor, but they would be nice improvements to see.
