  1. I can see this as a reason, but it seems like the people asking for this aren't going to be silenced by the change. Unless Bioware significant changes the advanced classes from level 1 up, and changes up the base skill sets themselves. Ex operatives don't get access to snipe, but do get shiv. Or something like that.
  2. While I had been focusing on Elder Scrolls and FF14 in my latest MMO rotation, I logged back in for the first time in a few months to find that I MUST choose an advanced class on my RP fun classes? I'd like to know what people think of this change since it is a few months in now, and I'll be honest, this peeves me. In PvP I would use trooper/bounty hunter or agent/smuggler as sort of teaching guides for new players; showing how mechanics, teamwork and situational awareness could beat out just mashing buttons. And it worked, since I was consistently one of the highest DPS in the charts on my team. Plus I got an almost delightfully sickening satisfaction at killing advanced classes that thought I was easy pickings. And of course I had my fully built and classed out serious classes for higher end PVP. I also used it to RP, since my main server is PvP And RP. There were little stories as to why my Agent didn't settle on one class or another. I feel like this is just another example of Bioware taking away the little creative choices from the players. Having to use double bladed weapons on shadow/assassins for example, when I like to use single saber for tanking class for the RP and aesthetic value. This change also seems entirely unnecessary. I started a new character to check out the changes, and so far I see no reason to switch to this system. If anything, forcing new players into an advanced class with no idea how the general class works seems counter intuitive. Base classes gave you a blend of dps/tanking; the only exception being for healing classes. Yet you get those skills so early on if you want them that I just don't see any positives. And I don't think there were enough people using non-classes to troll. So now I'm unsubscribing. I'll play your game Bioware, but not going to pay money while you strip and dumb down the skill trees, take away hybridization of said skills trees and continue -even if you don't realize it- to force players into thing when this is supposed to be an MMORPG; you can't ignore the RPG part. Take a look at which MMO won MMO of the year. It's the one that encourages diversity of choice; even if that choice is one of ****ery making the weakest, most useless skills combo class in the game. Just because some people like to have a little fun. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going back to my single saber tank assassin and my blaster rifle commando. PS: It's Elder Scrolls. For the second year in a row that they've won awards.
  3. Here's the rundown. I just started chapter 2, but already have her up to 8000 affection. -I've chosen every flirt option "except" the very first one on taris over the holcam. After that I've had a few opportunities and have taken everyone I can. -I didn't make her my XO, I've heard Jorgan makes a better one anyways, and there didn't seem to be much love lost there. I hope that isn't necessary to romance her since we can't save, and that'd be total BS. Is it a glitch, or do I just need to push chapter 2 along a bit more? (romances seem to be glitched in general in this game though)
