dude i totally agree i don't care if someone says, hey man mind if i roll need on that armor for my companion i usually say sure go for it, i have a 50% chance to win. its just a game. but read the posts in this thread 50% of them are like im rolling need on everything so you can (bad word inserted) thats a lot i am suprised at how greedy people are, just think of endgame loot, when you run an instance 100000 times trying to get that one drop and someone takes it for their "companion"

I started this thread and i want to clarify a few things. I run groups with 4 people and no one has companions out, i was not even the guy that was mad about it happening, big deal i lost a weapon to some guy for his companion, which was not even in the group, but then it causes a fight. instead of playing the game the group starts fighting, someone leaves. guess what for all you people saying "im just gonna roll need on everything" i wear heavy armor so i can roll need on any armor, if you cant wear heavy armor you cant roll need, so i guess i will end up with more stuff to vendor "i mean give to my companions" its a frikin mmo why did they even put AI pets with every class, to make it more like star wars??? i think it better to have a real person at my side being the smugler, the jedi, or the trooper, etc.. instead of some npc. if i wanted to play a game with npcs i would just play kotor or any other rpg and not have to pay 15 bucks a month. the bottom line is its causing fights, lots of them, think of end game raiding. OMG MY AWESOME LIGHTSABER DROPEDD, HEY WHY DID THAT GUY WHO CANT EVEN USE IT GET IT, WELL THE RAID LEADER SAYS HIS COMPANION CAN USE IT AND EVERYONE ROLLS NEED ON EVERYTHING. in the long run it will chase people away.

no its the game mechanics with no auto attack it comes down to who can non stop click a power the best, most ranged powers can be used while moving, i can even shoot backwards while running away from melee. if you dont believe me try it level a trooper or a bounty hunter to lv 10 and pvp and try it.

I use my level 1 power non stop, run in a circle from melee and almost always top damage and kills, ug im starting to join the bandwagon of this game is going to fail.

The last 5 random groups i have gotten into have some guy rolling need on krap he cant use but his "companions" can so he needs it, then a huge fight breaks out, the group splits up game over. The loot system needs to be addressed, people who use heavy armor should be the only ones who can roll need on it, the same for medium, light and weapons. It's getting out of hand, the companion system is just dumb it has George Lucas written all over it, A stoppid npc with bad ai does not enhance my game experience, it's a frickin Massive Multiplayer Game. if you want a healer you just find a REAL PERSON to heal, or to tank, why not just make a game where only 1 guy can play on a server then everyone else is a npc with ai and you can charge them 15 bucks a month to play it, yeah thats over the edge but this is just ruining the fun. and you can say just "get into a guild" but you can't always run things with just guild members and you cant even guarantee a guild member will not pull this bull krap. GEORGE LUCAS needs to get the hell out of the designing of this game, and go make movies, I bet George is the reason we cant play wookies or driods in this game. fix the dam loot system, who care if one quest in the level 50 zone dont work, 100% of your people are trying to have fun in groups

what level are you. below 14th i had the same problem, then i got a new form and a power to reduce one other person aggro generation and now i can tank really good.

If Bioware is going to listen to their customers and make changes then the minority will direct the course of the game, since we the "minority" are the ones asking for changes. MOAR ACTION BARS I WANT 4 VISIBLE MIDDLE ACTION BARS IN THE CENTER BOTTOM. that is all.

I received in game mail directing me to a website to guess what, buy credits, I reported it of course. the curious thing about the message was they sent me 1 credit in the message. I did not take the credit for fear of some sloppy game gm detecting that i took credits from a known "gold seller" so my advice to you is do not take the 1 credit if you get the same message the risk is not worth it. I will commend Bioware on the absence of "gold seller spam"

This game fails because 50% of the people want it to be wow, they want to re-live the high that wow gave them. They thought oh I will buy the collectors edition and rush to level 50, start "raiding" before everyone else get better loot and sit in town in my shiny armor with my cool epic weapon and everyone will be envious. so for this half the game will fail, they will quit and leave, they will return to wow and sit on their flying mounts in stormwind and orgrimar and be bored. waiting for the next "wow" killer, but it will never come. the other 50% are the ones who never played a mmo, or people like me who don't want this game to be just like wow. We are not rushing to level 50, we are just playing a game and having fun, for some people this is their first mmo, some people just don't like fantasy, but they like science fiction. there are enough of us to sustain this game, even if 50% of the current people stop playing there will be more than enough to keep this game going. Eventually the bugs will be fixed, they will add new features, more flashpoints, operations (raids) more pvp warzones, new skills, new races, classes etc.. it will happen. so in conclusion both sides are right this game will fail and wont fail.

Yoda said that "once you start down the dark path forever will it dominate your destiny" based on this I always thought that since Luke was able to to turn Vader back to the side of light Luke brought balance to the force. I assumed that meant that the darkside had a power the lightside did not. It could turn you evil and you could not be turned back to light. But Luke gained the power to turn people from the darkside to light. So i always thought balance was achieved that way both sides now had the power to turn people to their side. but after much research and reading it turns out that Anakin was the chosen one because he was the only one powerful enough to destroy Darth Sidious, then he died, leaving no Sith, the Sith became destroyed. It was the Sith who unbalanced the force, the force comes from life, if no life exists there can be no force. now that being said that does not mean evil can't return. People that are good can still become evil and turn to the darkside. Balance was brought to the force, but that does not mean that it can't be unbalanced again. Perhaps there is a sith prophecy about one who will restore the sith in the future.

Let me first say that Bioware did an amazing job on this game. However..... The guild ui is really really buggy, it will not show all the online members, for example there may be 30 people online but only two show up in the ui. When you try to sort by name or level it gets worse, it's really messed up and needs to be addressed in the near future. please Bioware spend some time fixing the guild ui, thank you. signed haluo

All I know is I am only lv 18 and already I am almost out of quick bar slots, they really need to add 2 more visible bottom bars at least so i can get all my powers, healing items, buffs etc visible, i am not going to hot key 40 different powers and items that is just silly. more action bars please!!! i can live without mods like dps meters and such, but I cant hotkey 40 things!!!!! merry xmas to all

Would you rather keep Assault/Battering Assault the way it currently is. Assault, no cool down, builds 2 rage Battering Assault, 15 second cool down, builds 6 rage or change it possibly to. Assault, no cool down, builds 2 rage Battering Assault, no cool down, builds 3 rage. or even Assault, no cool down, builds 2 rage Battering Assault, no cool down, builds 3 rage, reduce the damage a bit.

Bioware please add more quick slot bars, I would like to have at least four center bottom bars, because I like to spread my powers out in a "box" instead of a long line. I am a clicker, have always been a clicker, flame me if you want for being a clicker but I own in pvp so 4 BOTTOM CENTER BARS!!! PLEASE BIOWARE

nah i say turn of xp for quests and leave it on for pvp cause some of use like to get xp when we pvp. so yeah i say no xp for quests, only pvp no not really.

I hate the fact that you can only get 2 visible center bars, some people are clickers like me and we like lots of bars, it makes the game more enjoyable for us without effecting you.

Please add one more bar to the center bars, 2 is not enough I need at least 3. I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for one more visible center bottom bar, 4 would be better but i can settle on three.
