I think you're under the impression I did like 2 or 3 runs. It was more like 10, with different people every time.

Then apparently I'm on a server filled with aholes, because that is exactly what is happening. People needing on gear they don't use, but their companions do. And my point is, that this is going to happen for all 55 levels because 40 companions 17 Aim 13 Cunning 5 Strength 5 Wisdom

They were needing. This is more of a general question Why does Qyzen-Fess, who is listed as a melee tank, need aim? Wouldn't it be strength?

I'm not really worried about my companion. We all know that if you have 3 Jedi whatevers and 1 Imperial Agents or Smuggler than the chance for drops will be for those characters. With everyone rolling need on cunning/aim gear for their companions, how the hell am I suppose to get the drops for my character with out doing it 10-15 times. That's my point.

So I made a smuggler and got him to 10. Started doing the very first Flashpoint you can do. I see classes rolling on cunning and aim gear that they can't use and I'm like ***!!!?!!! I start asking people if they mind if I have the aim and cunning gear for myself and my companion. Considering all I group with are Jedi whatevers I didn't think it was going to be a problem. I get told yeah no problem at all, but these same people are still rolling on the cunning/aim gear. So I'm thinking to myself, I can't be on a server full of aholes. I go and check out all the stats for the companions 40 Companions 17 need Aim 13 need Cunning 5 need Strength 5 need Wisdom I'm not doing a Flashpoint 10 times while other classes are getting their gear and companions gear in half the time. Think I'll make a Consular

so its just me huh? I'm not talking about an epic here people. I'm talking about a level 12 drop in the first Flashpoint in the game. 50+ runs and only 2 drops of the Ops Jacket while I see the same drops over and over and over for the other players. Who are all higher level then me. No one else has this problem?

If thats random then I think they need to tweek their randomness

I'm talking about Normal Black Talon and I assume that if Black Talon is a Flashpoint then all Flashpoints work this way. I've run this flashpoint at least 50x now spread out amongst several chars, all of them being an Operative(don't ask) and i've come to the conclusion that who ever is the highest level in the group their class loot will drop. If i'm the highest level in the group Ops gear will drop. What I do is try to get a group of 3, me being an Operative and the other 2 hopefully a sorc or some tank. Giving me the best chance at the Ops gear. In 50+ runs i have seen the Ops Jacket drop twice and the gun a handful of times and I was always the lowest level in the group except when I was the highest and I got the jacket and gun Last night I ran with with a Bounty Hunter. He was the highest level and ALL of his gear dropped. something just feels off. Is it random or did i miss the memo that highest level gets all his/her gear

thanks guys. What about going back to the trainer to learn new recipes? or I am just wrong in my thinking? Do I learn new recipes by REing? thanks edit: do i need to be a certain level to learn the better recipes by REing? or can it work at say level 20 in biochem?

when should I start RE my products? For example is there any reason to RE Compact Medpac? At what levels should I return to my trainer to learn new things? thank you
