Experiences vary, for instance, I can pretty much say it has hurt the community. As for LFD, well, in WoW, it would be a common sight to see someone who isn't a tank, join someone's group, and then that person queue as tank just so the other group member(s) get thrown into groups instantly, then the tank leaves. Other common things include people needing items they don't need then leaving group (a lot worse on cross-realm), people (most notably tanks or healers) pulling monsters and leaving group, leaving the remaining members to die, and the general "I expect everyone in the group to know everything about everything" people. Because of all above, I don't want LFD, unless action will be taken against people who take part in the above and other negative actions (I wouldn't be sad if those people were perma-banned, but I can see that as being a bit much ). I personally am doing just fine without LFD (I'm level 32 atm) and don't foresee any issues in the future that would be solved solely with LFD.

I did a bit of searching and couldn't find much outside of others suggesting ideas for expansions, but I was curious if expansions would even exist? A friend told me that expansions wouldn't exist because of something involving a contract or something with Lucas Arts (something about no more outside publisher Star Wars games). Idk his source or anything like that or if he just pulled that out of thin air.

If your saying space bar skips cutscenes, I kinda wish I didn't know that Not that I ever wanted to skip a cutscene or skip dialog, but I thought it was impossible.

Taking my good sweet time too. Didn't get my ship until I was lvl 19 (and 1/5th bar until 20). Usually ended up clearing entire areas and exploring entire maps too

Without LFD in SWTOR, I've had no problems so far. With LFD in WoW, I've had things like healers pulling entire groups of people and then leaving group, tanks dropping instantly because they queued with a friend just to give them a quicker queue time, and other bs. With that said, I don't support LFD, unless Bioware would hand out temp/perma bans to ppl who can't play the game in a sensible manner....

no lfg tool = not encouraging people to communicate, makes sense... I personally solo most things, but a few group quests have been making me actually request the aid of other players. I personally don't see what the big deal is with no LFG tool, other then ppl wanting to socialize less, but that is just me. As for server-specific forums, not that I'd use em, but why not have em

nope. I just installed Win7 on my 2003 desktop, took around 9+ hours to install all updates including SP1... whereas XP took 3-4 hrs. The lacking HDD speed on that computer is also a great deal more noticeable on 7 then XP. I had a 2005 laptop that performed better on XP then 7 as well.

If the tools exist, you'd pretty much have to use them. If a LFG tool was put into the game, and I enter chat with a "LFG such-and-such", ppl will say to go use the tool... Imo, I like the not having to rely on a tool to find groups. As for dual-talent spec, don't really care about it (atm anyway). So far, I like the game as it is
