  1. I love that those of you who have been so generous with your expertise are being so helpful. I have learned much, and though it will take some time to put your advice into practice, I appreciate it a lot!
  2. Obviously you didn't read the rest of the post. If you bothered to read it, you'd know I was asking for advice, and at the end of it, I said that comments such as yours have no merit. So, unless you have something constructive to say, go find another thread in which to be negative.
  3. LOL Indeed I am a ranged player when I ask that question, usually my I-can-only-stay-in-one-spot-to-cast-or-shoot mode. And I always envy the ability to be able to just run around your target (though it makes me dizzy) and I don't know if it's a combo of WASD and mouse or what. LOL As for the legacy unlock, this is good to know. The expense part doesn't bother me, but just was wondering if it one of those class-only things, or if it was one of the special things you only got if you got a pre-order or something. The fact I can get one through my legacy unlock is a GOOD thing! Thanks for letting me know!
  4. This is all excellent advice, thanks so much. Please keep it coming. I do have a question... How do you deal with those people who can totally run circles around you and you can't target them because some of your abilities require you to stand still? It gets confusing when someone is blasting attack after attack while running around me, and I can't attack back. Additionally, is stealth even effective if you can see names and outlines floating in the air to give away position, or am I just not paying attention? Oh and the practice dummy... what is that and how can I get one on my ship? Just saying, something to practice on that isn't dependent on someone's time or their willingness to let you be their attack monkey is very helpful.
  5. That's really not being constructive or helpful. So.. thanks for nothing.
  6. Believe it or not there are some of us that hate PVP. For some of us, it's a lack of skill, or hand-eye coordination, or really the inability to specc our trees correctly. For whatever the reason that exists, we are not good at PVP, and thus hate PVP because we neither can improve, nor can we really get any way of liking it. Some hardcore players may think it's silly because if one spends so much time knowing their character, HOW COULD THEY POSSIBLY BE BAD AT PLAYING? right? Believe it or not, some of us are not that good even if we know our abilities. So.. for these players (including myself) I would like to ask you knowledgeable players about any advice for PVP. I only ask that it is constructive and not just "Get better" or "improve your game" or "stop sucking" because that will just make me want to play even less. Thanks.
  7. I just think it's stupid that the whole thing is like "Oh, you may have gotten tossed around, and you may have died a lot, but since you didn't get a medal, then you don't get any XP for it." I just died 5 times in huttball. I'm not very good at PVP as it is. I do it when I'm in that stage between levels where I need just a bit more to boost up to my next level, but what's the point if it is biased against people who aren't all that good at PVP, period?
  8. I'm debating giving up my consular for lack of a decent companion, based on this thread. Is there another healing/buff class?
  9. Astala'a - Beautiful Twi'lek Scoundrel sawbones. She's named after my first star wars tabletop character.
