What vendors sell better mods and enhancements??? You craft blues (and purples if you really want) , but I have only seen vendors sell green quality. IMO, Cybertech is probably a good choice, but Armstech will allow you to build blaster barrels, so that is pretty darned useful. I have a stable of alts with all the crafting skills, so I make what I need when I need it. I have sets of legacy bound armor set up that I pass around as toons level up.

I had a problem a couple weeks ago where I bought something from the cartel market and did not receive it. Opened a ticket and was contacted within a few hours. I think it might even have been a weekend.

If you are willing to spend $40 in real money, it is incredibly easy to make millions. Buy 5400 cartel coins for $40. Buy one of the fancy/expensive lightsabers from the cartel market, sell it on the auction house. I low-balled an item the other day and made 40million.

I make all my own upgrades for my armor, but since leveling happens so fast, I've figured out that I don't need to bother upgrading my equipment so often. Also, I didn't mention I'm an altholic. Each toon has several sets of the bound to legacy gear that you get for playing a long time (I bought it day one, but just started playing in December), so I have figured out that I can make the equivalent of heirloom and mail it to different toons as they level. Been slotting everything with purple but have decided blue will probably suffice.

Mastery, endurance, power, health, armor rating... All scale. Things like alacrity and accuracy seem to not scale.

So, it looks like when you scale down to an area, there is a hard cap to your stats. Basically, whether I have blue item mods, purple item mods, or use a purple stim. When my level is scaled down none of those items improve my stats/performance past a certain point. Has anyone done the math on what "optimal" gear levels will gain you when scaled down? Are you scaled down to a level equivalent to green or blue mods on your gear?
