  1. Since I reposted to Alpha last night, we have at least three people so far that are interested. Probably more as they get time to respond. Of the ones who have answered so far Friday/Saturday are best for us as well. We usually have events between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM EST on those nights so either before or after. Or if you just go all night then Alpha would drop out sometime in the middle and then come back later on..
  2. I'd be interested in this depending on what night it's scheduled. I'll repost on the Alpha forums and see if anyone else is interested.
  3. Please update points of contact for Alpha Company. Qorbin, Mij, Zidd, Riike, Ranque, Kjvago
  4. This weeks patrol is cancelled in favor of another event that we have scheduled.
  5. Last week this happened: On a routine peacekeeping mission to CZ-198, SGT Kjvago and SPC Jukota were ambushed by a force of eight imperials. After being soundly beaten and taking cover, SGT Kjvago called for aid from fellow Alpha Company soldiers as well as from their allies in Marine Expeditionary Unit. Jukota and Kjvago were soon reinforced by an additional three members of Alpha Company and four members of MEU, making for even numbers. We fought along one of the upper walkways in the area, trying to drive them off but during the fighting Clan Desh'ar captured a hostage from MEU. This hostage is presumably one of the POWs that Hrokkvir has threatened to execute, when we last saw him on Quesh, should we not show up on Ilum to spring his trap. This week: This Saturday (5/16 at 1900 EST) we are going to Ilum. We'll head north from Republic Base Camp toward Republic Waystation and from there to Imperial Base Camp. Depending on the numbers we're working with we'll either turn around and end the patrol there or kill the commander and then break into the Imperial cantina and damage morale by liberating them of their drinks.
  6. I see Riike responded to you in our guild recruitment thread so I guess I don't need to do anything.. Last week this happened: We started our patrol at Shad-Ka Outpost in the Nightmare Lands and travelled north along the unmarked path on the western edge of the area. There we ran into a mercenary that was killing nightmare creatures. We stopped him and explained that we were in the area keeping the peace and asked if he had seen anyone causing trouble. He had not and so we let him go about his business. We continued our route and passed by Ghen's Overlook where we ran into a sniper who attacked us. While fighting the sniper, the mercenary from earlier came and joined him in fighting us. After fighting them off for a couple of minutes, we made a fighting retreat from the base and took a detour from our planned route and headed to a nearby lake to kill a nightmare creature and investigate a Voss religious site. Once we got back to our route we entered the Pelath-Ri Marches where we stopped by Kri-Ta Outpost and made sure that our local commander was safe. From there we followed the main road to Outpost Overseer where we killed an imperial commander. After that we headed north to Pelath Point and to take a shuttle off planet, but once we got there we again met the sniper from earlier who attacked us. After neutralizing him, we saw that he had four friends there with him. We started negotiations for their peaceful withdrawal, which went well until the sniper shot at us and fighting broke out. After fighting for a long time, the imperials called for a ceasefire and asked for an even fight with five of ours against their five. I picked out Corporal Kateri, Speacialists Jukota and Derzis, Trooper Ajax and myself to represent the company. Both sides left the immediate vicinity of the medical center before starting the combat. The first fight had a misunderstanding of the terms of our combat. The second fight we won with no casualties. The third fight, the imperials were joined mid fight by reinforcements. We responded with bringing our three other members to back us up and a melee started. This lasted for several minutes until the Sith'ari Templars backed off and told us "The planet is yours by right of combat ... The Sith'ari shall depart". This week (5/9 at 1900) we are going to CZ-198. As there's not much area to cover for this patrol, we'll be in the big room area for 30 min keeping the peace before we leave unless something happens. I hope some imperials show up, the area looks very fun to fight in.
  7. Congratulations on two years!
  8. This Saturday (5/2/15) at 1900 EST we will be patrolling Voss. We will start out at Shad-Ka Outpost in the Nightmare Lands and travel north along the unmarked path on the western edge of the nightmare lands. We will pass by Ghen's Overlook and enter the Pelath-Ri Marches where we will stop by Kri-Ta Outpost. From there we will follow the main road westwards to Outpost Overseer. After that we will backtrack a little and then head north to Pelath Point and take a shuttle off planet. Whatever happens, we will be off planet by 2000 EST.
  9. Three more After Action Reports have been declassified. AAR (2/28/15) Surgok'k and Gravak'k We went after the Gree event world bosses and SM 16man Xenoanalyst together with a pug group of mostly <Guardians>. AAR (2/28/15) Rishi - King of the Hill - WPvP Server Event We attended this WPvP event hosted by <Transcendence>. AAR (2/28/15) Tatooine WPvP <NOVA> and <Requiem of the Old Empire> wanted a fight.
  10. Haha, no it was setup for an event to come. We haven't yet not shown up, so the hostages are safe.
  11. Contact Summary: The patrol started on time and we moved out in the direction of the Rogue Cartel Warbot. Along the way we started being harassed by two operatives from <Arcanum> and ran into Hrokkvir. Hrokkvir told us that we cost his masters with our victory on Hoth and told us to come to the ruined republic base on Ilum where they would have a trap waiting for us. If we don't come they will kill hostages. After he walked off, we continued our patrol to the Warbot which was absent when we arrived. We continued to the western main road and then south toward an imperial base while continually being harassed by the two operatives. As we got to the base we got bogged down for a while before finally managing to extract and continue past it. As we got near the imperial starport we met an assassin from <Arcanum> that was initially hostile but then declared his neutrality. We then pulled the commander and managed to kill him while simultaneously dealing with the two operatives' harassment. After killing the commander, we pulled back to a nearby hill and quick traveled out.
  12. This Saturday (4/25/15) at 1900 EST we will be patrolling Quesh. Our route will take us from at Republic Operational Headquarters (starport) to the location of the Rogue Cartel Warbot, from there we will head west to the road and then south past the Imperial Outpost and all the way to the Imperial Garrison (starport).
  13. Citizens of the Republic, As part of a new peace keeping initiative the 203rd Republic Expeditionary Legion, Alpha Company, will be patrolling on contested planets regularly. As a deterrent to any troublemakers the patrol route will be public knowledge. If you live in the announced area you may feel safe leaving your house that day knowing that Alpha Company is protecting you. WHO: All Alpha Company Personnel WHAT: Patrol WHEN: Weekend day @ between 1900 and 2000 EST start time WHERE: A planet/zone accessible to both factions. DURATION: Upwards from 30 min POINT OF CONTACT: 1SG Kjvago Mahr SUMMARY: One day, every weekend Alpha Company will be patrolling on a planet that is accessible to both factions. The patrols will have a pre-planned route which should take between 30 min to an hour, after which the patrol will end if we don't encounter anyone. As we patrol, we will stop to RP with you whether you are imperial or republic and we will not attack unless you initiate combat. You may however expect to be stunned and questioned if we think that you are acting suspicious. We will also respond with force if we hear of any lowbies being attacked on planet. The planet and the route will be posted on the Jung Ma forums every week so people can know where to find us if they want to do some World PvP with us or do some RP with us. These patrols may be canceled in favor of other events on a particular week if needed in which case that will also be announced here.
  14. After every event we do, someone in the guild is tasked with writing up an AAR (After Action Report) on our forums. A while back we started moving our AARs to a publicly visible section of our forum after 45 days. Since then, several members of other guilds have told us that they enjoy reading our AARs. In case anyone else is interested in reading them, I will post here occasionally with links to AARs that have been made public recently. Three AARs were made public this week: (2/20/15) Sithspawn #3 AAR This was a continuation of a temporarily abandoned storyline. (2/21/15) Siren's Song RP & Charity event AAR Penumbrals RP/charity event for Childs Play AAR Corellia RP/WPVP event 2/11/15 An RP/PVP event with Reign
  15. Going by the coordinates, it's by the northern half of the crashed ship in the water on Horizon Island? Cause I'm not seeing any Northern Wilds. Are we talking inside the ship or in the water outside to the south-west?
  16. Thank you Penumbral for arranging the event. It was fun.
  17. I'll repost to the Alpha Company forums. You'll probably get a couple of us there.
  18. I am on a character with a 93% Stronghold Bonus and a guild invasion on Corellia. Depending on how the points get calculated, Critical Missions: The Black Hole should either give me: 2000 X 2 X 1.93 = 7720 OR 2000 +2000 +1860 = 5860 What I received was 2930. I assume this means Corellia invasion bonuses don't work and that the stronghold bonus calculates thinking the objective was worth 1000 points instead of 2000. The characters I did this on are Kj'vago and Kjvago on the Jung Ma server.
  19. Green - lasts until it ends naturally or you die Blue - persists through death Purple - reusable and persist through death, but it requires a certain amount of biochem skill to use.
  20. Xenxero/Xenvega used to be in the same guild as me before he left to join what was at the time the best rated team on Jung Ma: Immortal. He was/is a clicker (not sure if he's still playing). One of the best sage healers on Jung Ma (Zek-anlai) is also a clicker. So yes you can definitely perform very well while clicking just as while keybinding. Personally I find that clicking is limiting me, so I'm gradually moving toward keybinds. But there are people out there who make it work for them.
  21. Just to confirm: its the crossroads where the road makes a T in front of the radioactive water? Sort of in the middle between Republic and Imperial spawn.
  22. *sees a post from Zigna* Is she back on Jung Ma?! Nope, just talking to someone who transferred. You tease!
  23. Very nice guide. I like seeing you different look at it. I come at it as a Tactics with Assault spec rather than how it seems like you look at it: Assault with Tactics. So basically I don't work off the 4GCD rule but rather the 15 sec between every PC (in which I need to get 3 stacks) rule. A combination of the two is probably best though so I'll see if I can improve on that. One trick I've picked up is that PC has the same cooldown as the duration of Gut which means picking a set spot within your 15 sec rotation to use Gut means there's no clipping and no downtime. I gotten in the habit of using it as soon as my PC channel is done. Because you might get unlucky with ammo or lag or w/e and break the 15 sec rule, its probably better to use it as the last ability before PC comes of cooldown so that you don't get downtime on Gut in the middle of PC and miss out on the extra 3% for part of it. Another thing I can improve on.
  24. I don't think any Republic summits have been held yet Corth. Grats on Sgt. btw, it's well deserved. Pretty sure you know I'm moving in not too long. After that I'm gonna make an effort to get some wpvp from Remnants.
