to put it simple, every time i go into a RP server to create a character there, i remember there are no chat bubbles and i immediately stop doing that...

I refuse to play with "Master Jedi Fat *****" since i can't stand looking at my character anymore, so i rolled a Sith Warrior, same class(marauder) and get my first chest gear from black talon flashpoint, now my Sith has a huge bubblebutt that made me stop playing him aswell... How come something like this passed in production? Would you take characters like Darth Vader seriously if he had his rear wider then his shoulders? it just doesn't feel right... and the fact that you can ctrl click your robes and they will show perfectly on your costume viewer just pisses me even more off... big ***** jedis aren't something being advertised in their trailers, this and the lack of high res textures, the more i spend time in swtor the more i feel i am being cheated by bioware.

I normally dont spend time on forums of games that i feel that wont get my attention for long, and if i spend any time at all in swtor's forum and voice my opinion on things that are wrong or i would like to see improved are simply because i enjoy the game and have high hopes for it... Everyone knows that swtor is a young and with time it will be a great game i have no doubts of that, but the game is still not polished and has its problems, for example, i ve been following allot of topics on High res textures (that are still currently unavailable) and bioware lacks to even give an answer on this, this is something that has a paying customer we have all the right to demand. anyways, i enjoy swtor, and i feel that i am going to be here for a long time, and i just want to see it improve, all you white knights on the other hand are just trolling other QQ'ing trolls and makings this in some cluster f*** forum's full of insults and rage. Don't waste time on the forums feeding trolls. If you enjoy the game that much, just play it.

the op has a point here... Not being able to simply speak wit the ppl around you is something i wouldn t expect from this kind of mmo.

it saddens me that all the gear on my character looks like crap... and BW being quiet about it ain't helping...

...let me know how you enable high res textures with your awesome tweaking/notepad skills master!!! wait, they are disabled for everyone? ***?! yes, ppl are still dumb enough to say that the game is fine and will eat all sorts of dog poo they throw at them when combat responsiveness and high res textures are KNOWN issues, and then these white bioware knights come to the forums complain even more about ppl disliking the game then actual people that roam the forum looking for answers to problems they have or simply posting their discontent with some issues... its simply annoying the amount of effort these white knights put into bashing people with problems... If the game is so freaking marvelous and flawless for you, go freaking play it and leave customer support forums to people with actual concerns and want things fixed .

I've been reading this post for some time and i am kind of amazed with the the time that some people put into replying to this thread to say stuff like "it's normal for mmo's to have bad graphics" and "game looks good, they did a good job" when it is so frickin obvious that there is a problem with textures, specially character textures (maybe cuz they are more noticeable)... these people should be playing the game that they are so happy with and not making me waste my time reading their useless posts... I must admit, that i don't have a a top notch gaming computer, and probably i wont be able to run the game with high res textures, but i can understand the frustration of ppl that have good gaming rigs and are simply forced to look at blurry textures. Since the game launched i've been tweaking the settings so far I've managed to get the game to run in a way that i find acceptable, except for the damn textures... they are game breaking for me and i hope this issue gets fixed soon
