How does purging his slow even help me when sorc healers are the most stationary healers there is? I can't just flee away and leave the ballcarrier or my team hanging everytime someone jumps on me. Thats what I mean by lockdown. They prevent you from healing people SO effectively its ridiculous. Plus it wont take long until their charge is back up. Only "guard" can really help.

THIS IS ALL REGARDING PVP (I'm doing just fine in pve) Heal spec got nerfed bad. No more 1.3 sec big heals anymore. Just 1 marauder is enough to lock us down like crazy. Without guard sorcs are almost useless. No more hybrid. That means no more decent dps in WZs. Madness spec is only good in duels. In WZ, you sometimes find your dots tick for less than 200 dmg and you run out of force easily. Lightning spec is useless as soon as you get focused and its immobile. This is all ********. I wish they would at least give healing sorcs some sort of cooldown to give us a chance to shake off marauders or something.

Ive been BM for a whole month and two weeks. in about 86 bags I only got 9 tokens which is only 10.4% I swear this is my LAST month on this f** game. I cancelled 5 minutes ago. 25% chance? Stop it with the ********! I'm F*** MAD EVERY day I get NO COMMS and today was NO DIFFERENT.

Why do most people claim lightning is less viable than other specs? It only has 1 cast time spell more than wrath based specs really (pointing Force lightning). IMO, it kills single targets faster than Madness and Hybrid, will never leave you out of force and has a bit more survivablitity, especially in WZs. Forget it. Endgame in tor is boring. There are less WZ because more and more people stop caring and stop playing. Even my guild isn't logging on because they are bored out of their minds even though we win most our WZ. Every day I log on just so I can kill 30 reps and win 3 wz for my daylies. Devs are pushing new content way too slowly. I'm cancelling my sub. GG

That spec would put you OOF in an instant + it wouldn't improve your dps by alot. Why DPS if you want to heal? You either damage or heal people and thats it. Let the others take care of the damage if youre heals.

OP's post said it all. Sorcs are definitively the best class to play in WZ (imo) but the worst to play in 1v1. BTW.. Assassins have the same CC abilities we do + Force shroud. They stick to us like glue too.

Best damage? Maybe in WZ because we get away easily and freecast alot but in 1v1 situations I think were among the lowest dps class.

Doing 600k heals in a long lasting Voidstar is easy. 1. Get a premade with good people. 2. When you're free, heal non stop 3. When you have someone on you, alert your team and try to get away. 4. Always mind your positioning towards both your teamates AND the enemy.

I think sorcs do very very very well in WZs because it is polivalent, ranged and can get out of trouble easily. I dont think they are any good at duels though. All classes have no problem staying on your *** with all the snares, leaps, stuns they have. Because of that, heres no way to keep them at bay long enough to force lightning and proc wrath. The best spells you could use are your insta dots and death field. Also, we indeed do decent damage (even though IMO its far from crazy) but our dps takes a crazy drop when being bothered. So what tips, tricks and builds do you guys use to win duels?

Should I put two points in Opressing force or Devour? Just wanna hear your thoughts

The point is to keep casting and casting AMAP with heavy use of Force Lightning and escape attention easily with a popping shield and frequent force sprint. Please give feedback on either Pros and Cons in your opinion because I haven't tested it yet.
