  1. If you were ever going to offer this up for free, you should have said as much before. In essence, everyone who bought RotHC before the day after tomorrow (not to mention those of us who pre-ordered it in December) just bought 5 months of early access. Even if you didn't know the exact date of when this was going free, you should have been up front with your customers and let us know that eventually it would become free.

I believe everyone who bought RotHC before it becomes free would be more deserving of that 1050 Cartel Coins. Who would you expect to buy it now anyways if it's going F2P in two days?

I'll take what I can get (in this case a title to my already miles long list of useless titles) but once again, I'm thoroughly disappointed with how Bioware handles its customers.

They would actually STILL pay for it. Possibly even more than what you had paid for (imagine: they would at least need to pay $15 OR $30 if they would get the 60-day one-time sub vs $10 that you had purchased) but I have to agree on the reward for the existing subscribers. It's gave me the "what, that's it?" feeling. XD

  2. Mabuhay Kabayans!

Kiwi Pinoy here from NZ, been a sub since launch, have been at Shadowlands from the start, but last couple of months, RL sched deemed an East Coast server unworkable for me in terms of end game content. So transferred my main to Harbinger in hopes of finding a new home or maybe start one. Maybe, just maybe, planning to start a guild for SWTOR Pinoys(an non pinoys alike) on Harb. Idea stage pa lang po, but plan to name the guild “Bakunawa/s”(or maybe Anak Bakunawa or something like that). Wala po akong magawa sa office nungisang araw, nag design po ako ng guild logo. G. Artist po kasi ako by profession. hehehe. :)

Anyway, just an idea so far, would be great if I could start this thing with my fellow pinoys on Harbinger. I’m usually on 10pm PST, Mondays-Thursdays, and 11am PST - onwards on Saturdays/Sundays. Main is a Tank, 1st toon was Sage healer(naiwan sa shadowlands), and levelling up a Merc Bodyguard(halfway there!)

Message niyo lang po ako if anyone is interested, Isubomo or Chopa’inmo, Imperial Side. Cheers and thanks!

    Kindest regards and God Bless!

What characters do you have on Harbinger? I have a 41 Guardian but I'm fortifying my main on Tomb Of Freedon Nadd. I am on a guild with my IRL Filipino friends so if you don't mind you can join us :3 Just search for guild <Space Pikeys> and PM any member that you want to join and you're friends with Pantstohead/Eimaj'Purple/Serha/Merhaie/

  3. Relax. It happens to everyone. I know a good many that would probably tell you that the ultimate solution to PUGs is to join a guild. It does relieve stress and keeps you sane, but what if no one in your guild is online or at the level of the flashpoint or heroic, what to do then?

We have all seen many mistakes people make while in groups. When it comes to CC (Crowd Control), did you realize that NOT all classes or advanced classes can CC the same as others?

    * Some can CC gear. (worn by humanoids only).

    * Some can CC droids only.

    * Some can only CC before the mob is aggro'ed.

    * Some can CC both humanoids & droids, (before & during battle)

I can show you what I have seen & experienced.....

    TANKS- our beloved meat shield.

They have a tendency to use a generator, instead of using a shield, not spec'ed correctly, not using their "taunts",

or using the wrong stance or using no stance at all. It is their duty to keep their guard actively on the healer.

    DPS- our damage dealers.

They love to drop all of their bombs, grenades, and do all sorts of damage quick, but end up aggro'ing everything insight and also take the aggro / threat generation away from the tank.

HEALERS- our life & mission depends on them

Never underestimate the healer. They can CC just about anything and heal as well. Their first priority is to keep the TANK alive first, followed by the DPS, second. The biggest issue I see is most people run through content real quick, never paying attention to the healer trying to replenish his own health, force power, or vent heat. In a lot of cases in PvE, and especially in PvP, the healer is the first to be killed. If the healer goes down, then the tank is next. Once the tank and healer is killed, the dps might be able to hold out, but will eventually fall, taking all the damage that the tank was supposed to take, and not being able to heal in battle, as that was the job of the healer.

I hope this allows you to gain some sanity back, as a lot of us have been where you are. Some people just don't know, don't care, or think every fight is just go in and drop all forms of damage on them and go on. I have seen some try to blame it on everything from the game going free to play to immature kids. Its more than that though,

because we have people in game from ages 8 years to 80 years old that are just hard headed. When people realize that they want to win, they will decide to learn their abilities, as well as others' abilities to be better players than when they started. This also brings to mind one final thought. We all started from scratch, regardless if we played M.M.O.'s before, we all had to learn about SWTOR from the ground up.

    ^this

Also, whenever I pug for FPs/Heroics I would always ask if partymates have already done the said content or if they are a bit new to the game. I try to be kind to them no matter what how crafty they are when playing, as long as they don't go a-hole on me.

  4. So, buy them at the vendor, you don't have to farm them.

But.. But... The datapads cost too much to get this mount!!!

...is what I would say if I'm an i**ot child of a gamer who always wants everything to be fed to me. Unfortunately I am not. Compared to other MMORPGs (even single-player RPGs) I played, questing for this mount was easier and more fun (with imp killings yay).

Plus, TAUNTAUN MOUNTS. I have waited for this stuff to happen loooooooong ago. And I actually did waste 5 hours (because I did it on a lvl 37 character and needed to ask for people to help me) but it was worth it. Also thanks for those people.

  5. I like the idea!!! It's like the Zombie Apocalypse mode fom an FPS game I'm playing.

Correct me if I'm wrong, in the lore there is a gladiator-themed competitions for Mandalorians and that's where, I think, Mandalore the Indomitable was discovered (please correct me if I'm wrong I forgot the names). Maybe change the theme to be Mandalorian-ish and ... Might as well allow mixed factions in the arena as ONE Ops group.

  6. Effin' haters. Actually this is the first MMO that I've played religiously, though not hardcore. I Played some MMOs but stopped at a certain level because it got boring, just hacking n' slashing and stuff. I played the game not because it's Star Wars (F*** me, right?) but it's because it has a lot of things to offer me (especially the magnificent arenas of pwnage that is Warzones).

Now I'm looking forward to more of the end-game content (haven't played Operations and RWZs yet) and to the future additions to the game as well.

I'm just wishing for few things: Podracing and Space warzones.

  7. Dソッリス - マローダ - 50 || ベッライアル - ガーヂアン -28

    ヴァーシュ - アッサッシン - 14 || エイシアー - タルーパ - 9

Let me fix your sig for ya.

-- You wrote your Guardian as "Gaajan" when Japs write this as "Gaadian". (DI - De + I below it)

-- You wrote Assassin as how it is spelled "Assasshin" (which doesn't sync with the stress applied on the english word) TIP: you write Katakana as how it is pronounced, not spelled. It should be "Asaashin".

-- You wrote Trooper as "Taruupa" when it should be "Toruupaa".

    There :)

  8. Vanguard -- SS Armored Betamax ( Well, Thunderclap looks like a VHS/Betamax tape)

Guardian -- The Diva (In honor to Gundam AGE's Diva ship)

Gunslinger -- SS Transporter (Yep, Jason Statham FTW!)

Sorcerer (RIP Krolithika) -- The Guadosalam (Final Fantasy X)

  9. I have a crepe-ton of music in my playlist (BTW I choose Grooveshark as my streamer)

    For questing:

    - Early Gameboy Pokemon BGMs (I'm serious) | for large planet walks

    - Mass Effect 3 Soundtracks

    - Any classical music | for when I'm just sitting somewhere and chatting with people

    Flashpoints and Operations

    - Final Fantasy Dissidia Battle Soundtracks

    - Otherworld by The Black Mages (FFX Jecht Boss Fight Theme) | Boss Fights

    Warzones

    - Huttball : Thousand Foot Krutch songs (TOTALLY AWESOOOOME)

    - Other Warzones :

    - Force-user classes - Symphonic Metal Bands like Lunatica, Tarja, Nightwish and Epica. Also Cradle of Filth

    - Non-Force-users : Waterflame, Jackal Queenston, Mayhem (I also use this for PVE), Furries in a Blender

  10. This is the first MMO that I hardcorely played (Been a casual my whole gaming life) and I just rolled another Guardian FROM SCRATCH on a different server. AND STILL ENJOYED STORY AND WARZONES AND FLASHPOINTS.

I dunno if it's just the game or my being so content of what I do or have, or the game really satisfies me so much that I wanted to stay for good.

  11. Don't stab her, she's only joking!

Heeheee. I'm glad you're enjoying these. They're fun to write when I'm feeling a bit silly.

ermmm... not the "I wanna kill you" type of lightsaber unsheathing, and it's not the "weapon" lightsaber that I unsheathed. If you know what I mean. LoL

  12. cartel points is would be okay for me as long as it doesn't sell gears/weapons/other stuff that will give advantage to player.

    I would like:

    - LVL 50 rare color crystals

    - awesome-looking speeders

    - Awesome-looking custom Vibroswords

    - moar adaptive gear

:) that would make me happy :)

  13. I'm becoming an LFG addict since 1.3 launch and I must say, it's really a test of adjustments, adjustments, teamwork and adjustments. few tips (Others may have mentioned it already) :

-- You only ask to spacebar ONCE. If they want to re-live the FP scenes then please let them and might as well enjoy it yourself instead of complaining. Which comes down to "If you don't have that time, don't freaking queue for GF".

-- Adjust to your teammates. You may play FPs/Ops with the same players at some time, but most of the time all of you are total strangers to each other. If someone wants to do something different than you want to do, let the rest of the team decide. And respect it.

-- Help noobs and DON'T EVER complain - as one of the posts said, each time that you queue it's a crap shot. Why tell them to L2P if you can actually teach them?

LFG queueing is a good way to make new friends. Don't use them to harass someone.
