Every time I enter a warzone and our group meets the enemy team my frame rate drops to 20. Some times dips into the teens when a lot of AOE is happening. Don't post here if all you have to tell me is that your computer runs it fine and you don't know why I'm having issues, you're just a troll. ALL machines dip this low or close to it in warzones especially after 3.0 and all the people I game with have high end machines and are experiencing the exact same issue.....
Before you tell me I'm bottlenecking on CPU or GPU let me give you a list of hardware on my main machine.
CPU : i7-4790k @ 4.6 GHZ water cooled
GPU: MSI GTX 780 ti gaming edition
RAM: 16 gigs Corsair Dominator 2400
Needless to say this game should run at about 175 fps all day on my main machine. I have three other machines including an Alienware M18 laptop with an unlocked haswell and flagship Nvidia cards in SLI and all my machines run this game like ***.
On every pc I test this game utilizes about 30% of my cpu and 25% of my gpu under load in a WZ ???? Bad coding? Game engine fail? The worst part is this is a GREAT game and the main game I have played for the last few years but I am about ready to unsub and uninstall because this game runs worse with every patch.... Bioware, figure out this issue before the game completely dies because this is the main reason people have left since launch.
How many of us after launch couldn't wait to get PvP geared so we could go to ilum and have like 50 on 50 battles? I got a few of those going myself and they lasted two minutes because everyone was getting 14 fps and just gave up on it. ALL I DO is PvP and I love how visceral and fast the PvP is in this game, it's the best I've experienced. But now with the ability lag and horrible frame rates it's almost not worth logging in and it makes me angry. I'm not trying to be a bummer, I just know these developers know about this issue and refuse to acknowledge it. Maybe it can't be fixed I dunno.... All I know is it's not my machines, and I'm tired of the low fps and lag.
