  1. My point exactly. I guess no one ever reads the whole thread anymore.
  2. Send me a Bloomberg message and ask me how much knowledge I have. Anyway, I was trying to help explain that this is more of a correction than a downgrade. His original estimate was based on sales figures that were way to high to achieve by anything but maybe Modern Warfare. See my first post.
  3. Lol! Read my earlier post. I don't even think you understand what I was saying.... I was commenting to someone else that mortgage ratings have nothing to do with analyst stock estimates for publicly traded companies. People buy and sell based on analyst advice. No offense but read before you quote me.
  4. Cept you're not dealing with mortgages here but a publicly traded company that gets it's investment capital by selling stock. K thx.
  5. These guys are just like us. I deal with analysts for a living lol. The guy played the game and had concerns so he posted that and people bought or sold on his recommendation. It doesn't mean the game is failing it means this analyst has his reservations about the game and doest want to go with his earlier prediction that the stock would rise to 28 dollars a share. On Bloomberg look up {NI GAMES<GO>} ( if you have access to Bloomberg that is) and search the estimates analysts were giving for sales figures of SWTOR... It was astronomical. There was no way a MMO was gonna sell that many copies. This is more of a correction than a downgrade. The analyst was getting back in touch with reality.
  6. LoL! The people asking for "Screenshot or it didn't happen" kill me. 1) Unless you're sitting waiting for it to happen I doubt your prepared to take the screenshot and even if you're fast I bet the 7k number disappears before you get the chance. Combat logs would help us determine the truth but unfortunately there are no combat logs . My opinion is don't bother trying to prove anything to people on these boards. No matter how much evidence you post someone will dispute it. Devs do read these forums even if they don't comment. Let BW investigate and validate/invalidate your claims or you end up with this : Cochran* ...ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, I have one final thing I want you to consider. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk. But Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now think about it; that does not make sense! Gerald Broflovski*: Damn it! ... He's using the Chewbacca defense! Cochran* Why would a Wookiee, an 8-foot-tall Wookiee, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of 2-foot-tall Ewoks? That does not make sense! But more important, you have to ask yourself: What does this have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense! Look at me. I'm a lawyer defending a major record company, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca! Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense! None of this makes sense! And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberatin' and conjugatin' the Emancipation Proclamation, does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense! If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests.
  7. I have to agree that combat logs need to be added so that we can either use our own parsers or a built in one to see how well we are doing. These tools should have been available or from release. If you don't like these tools don't run them but MMOs for some people are all about Max/Min. How can you do high level content without these tools. The raid or operation leader needs to know how much DPS the raid is dishing, who is slacking and how much DPS the boss is dishing. These tools make things go smoother. When your running a raid or operation and you wanna know where you keep taking the wrong turn to find yourself in Fail City you need these tools to find out what you could have done better. You need these tools to find out who did great and who's slacking. Call it elitist but I don't wanna faceplant for 2 hours cause the tier1 DPS is doing 50dps ZW.
  8. I play a Sith Assassin. Like an Operative stealth is life for my class. It's good that classes have stealth detection tools but dude I see those stupid bots with the spotlights. How dumb do I have to be to run into them? I usually just wait till it expires and then make my attack run which is what operatives do. Those tools are only good if you already know a stealthed is there and doesn't have room to escape detection. Way I see it the only problem with the Operative is that the knockdown lasts to long. It enables thm to WTFpwn you because you down for what seems like forever. My Assassins spike does not seem to last nearly that long. Might be perception or how long it takes for my stuff to fire off but whatever it is I as an assassin can't own you from the opener. The knockdown should not last that long. I'm of the opinion that if an Op or Assassin gets the drop on you it should be an uphill battle for you to win one on one but a 4 or more second knockdown (feels longer than 4 seconds not saying it is) is an "I win/owned you" button. This is coming from a guy who played an infiltrator in DAOC when dragonfang had a 7 second stun. it was OP there (although really entertaining to do to People) and the knockdown regardless of if it's 3 seconds shorter is OPed here. Just my opinion. We all have them
  9. I'm with the Empire for this simple reason : "Evil will always prevail because good is stupid".
  10. BUMPING** - This is to important to let disappear.
  11. I agree. I see this same problem constantly in PVP. I stealth up to someone (I'm a sith Assassin) I use my static charge proc attack then my electrocute which more often then not procs FW and finally I go for maul. Now I see the maul backstab animation go off but in the middle of the animation it resets. I try it again and it resets. I try it a third time and now the person is no longer stunned and is turning around to fight me. The first time this happened I thought I must be doing something wrong but after positioning myself closer and further away behind the target I know it just isnt me. Either the game thinks my character is somewhere that according to my screen I'm not or maul has some sort of bug. This happens to me a lot. When the combo above works it works great and I can drop a Jedi like they should be dropped but when this fails its a big deal (if FS is not up)and without knowing why I can not correct my playstyle. This needs to be looked at.
  12. Sith Assassin here and I notice this problem all the time when I am trying to do backstabs. It seems like the animation is going off and then it resets and I think it is because the game thinks I'm somewhere I'm not. So I reposition and try the backstab again and hope this time it goes off without resetting. This is very frustrating in PVP where I'm positioning myself for a backstab, use my stun (electrocute), go for the backstab and the animation resets. Try again and the animation resets. Person is no longer stunned and I == dead. I've been PvPing since level 11 so I didnt always have Force Cloak as an emergency and this often == dead. So, while I'm not sure this is exactly what you are talking about it seems related and I would love to see it fixed.
