  1. It is fair to say that we’re just as excited as you are about the launch of Star Wars: The Old Republic. Not only are we launching one of the largest and most impressive games ever created, but we’re also excited about the prospect of continuing to work on the game so that you, the fans, will always have something heroic and amazing to enjoy. Thanks for playing. James Ohlen Game Director Should have said highly anticipated games ever created. Still a lot of work to do till the game is fully playable. WOW delayed the release of an expansion cause they felt it wasn't ready yet. If you need the phone numbers to Blizzard or CCP I would be happy to get them for you. I'm sure they can give you pointers. Lag is still a problem and you have segregated mmo's threw the rich and poor. People can't aford new computers to play this. Turn it down or ****. Shouldn't have to get a new computer when a laptop can play WOW and Eve perfectly.
  2. Money hungry Bioware......Just because the engine is in place doesn't mean you should start it without oil and the transmission installed. System requirements too high and buggy as hell...but lets throw some more stupid content at them....that will shut them up.
  3. Fix the damn bugs and problems before new content release...how about making it run on older systems too?
  4. Need to fix this Ray and Greg, SWTOR could kill WOW if it was more compatible with other systems. WOW has so much support due to it's ability to run on older computers and on laptops. Most people I know WANT to play SWTOR but are too short on cash to get a new computer. I run EVE Online and WOW on this laptop perfectly. In SWTOR had to crank the settings way back to get the character to move a little bit better. Lag continues to be a huge problem as the population grows in SWTOR. People are still getting stuck and bugs are still being found. The whole Mass Effect feeling is AWESOME in an mmo. Time is going to be needed to fix everything. That is understood. But SWTOR received a lot of praise prior to release, months before beta testing. Then beta testing was preformed just before release. Not such a great idea. I am happy for the people who can play this without problems but Bioware and Lucus Arts can do a whole lot better. If you want to siphon off of WOW things need to change. RAIN Arthie Gallente Federation pilot.
  5. Need to work on this To keep people's interest in SWTOR it should be playable on many different systems both newer and older. Wow's fan basis is huge. One of the biggest reasons, is that WOW can be played on a laptop and apple computers. I have a laptop that plays WOW and EVE Online perfectly. Yet I had to crank down the setting on SWTOR to get it to run decent but still suffer the lag. The lag continues to get worse as the populations grow. I had to adjust nothing on EVE and WOW and suffer no lag. The lag and delays in response time has made me quit playing for a couple days. It is quite upsetting, yet the problem can be fixed. I love my Trooper Commando. But at the moment The Gallente Federation seems way more promising. WOW killer it could be if it were more compatible. Sincerely RAIN Arthie Gallente Federation Pilot P.S This isn't hate mail, just honesty.
