Yeah, that was the plan. I was hoping to get specs from someone that is using the same video card and maybe copy them on their processor, ram, and mobo.

Damn, my rig is basically the same as yours only slightly better (E8500 duo at 3.16, 4 gigs at 1066 and a gtx 470). I have to run at all low settings with shadows off.

What are the specs on the rest of your comp? I'm not even getting 30-40 in the fleet let alone warzones where the fps really matter.

Anyone running a GTX 470 well with TOR? The reason I'm only asking about the GTX 470 is im looking to upgrade the other components of my computer, mainly the motherboard, ram, and cpu. Everything else in my box is fine so I want to upgrade as cheaply as possible. Thanks in advance for your help.
