I think Cherubel has a point here. Especially, having in mind that the binoculars quest is not very interesting, as it mostly requires you to travel around the galaxy and spend most of the time on loading screen instead of in action.

That is something I've been thinking as well. Applying the same logic - they can as good remove the pve gear too and make ppl wear only some decorative cartel market costumes. Then the progress even in ops and fp will solely depend on players' skills because it is also somehow unfair some guilds or even parties to have more pve progress, because they have better items than others.

This is full of ****! It wasn't fair to the new players that the old players had better gear. And what about the old players who has spent a lot of time getting the best gear for PvP? At one time they introduced elite war hero gear and made war hero almost free in order to balance stuff. So we farmed elite war hero gear because of our aim for perfection and now they mutilated the gear making it some mediocre ******** that is no good for anything. Enough to say they throw the concept of pvp gear down the toilet. It wasn't bad enough that actually after lvl 50 your stats are degrading just with the aim to farm their high end gear and to get the same stats as before. It wasn't bad enough that the frame rate in the new zones drops down randomly, because it's not optimized. It's not enough the game is lagging so much it's unplayable half the time. They are mocking at us - every single employee of EA and Bioware, so I think had enough.

Hello, my server has just been made eligible to transfer to The tomb of Fredon Ned. On that server however I have already characters with the same names as the ones being transferred. As it is the same account, will I be able to change the names of the characters who are already there, because they are under developed and are more like alts, or should I have to change the names of the transferred characters?

We are like 20-30 republic people one server fighting to 20-30 imps on server. And the truth is if no server transfer or merger is coming this game will be dead after the free 30 day period. I have a guild, I have friends, so the fault is not in me, but I can't find 3 more people to the the "NEW" flash point. That is, because people just lost any interest to play (the greatest design of the new items and the ETA of getting them is factor as well). So if this game want to have a future the way is to gather more people at the same place - not to flash up with some new useless toys. As I guess in our server the new 1.2 patch got the interest for 3 days only. Even if Bioware introduce patch 8.0 now they won't find any attention.
