  1. So simple, yet so awesome.

Let us pick what role we want each companion to have.

Say I unlock Aric Jorgan, I should get to pick if I want him to specialize in:

    -DPS

    -Healing

    -Tanking

Don't even need to make new talent builds, just re-use the existing ones from other companions and let us pick.

More power to the player, more customization, more fun.

  2. This.

If you want "beefy" updates, look to patches 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and beyond. The third digit in patch numbers, are historically used for "minor" updates to the software.

If the patch notes for 1.2 is the length of the 1.1.4 notes, THEN you (the OP) can start complaining. But I highly doubt it.

Sorry pal, but 1.2 and whats been released of the rest is seriously underwhelming at best.

I for one, stopped playing after they announced it, simply because I figured "Okay, so swtor's gonna need 8months to a year to be a decent MMO, see you back in 2013... maybe.

  3. Honestly, I haven't played in a week now and I don't feel the need to log back in.

Somehow promises of future patches that only fix a small number of problems can't seem to make me want to play this game.

What really got to me tho, was the class unbalance. Playing anything but a vanguard/sorc/commando just feels like gimping yourself too much for it to be enjoyable in the end. Yes, even in PvE if you care remotely about being efficient to the best of your abilities it's an hopeless battle.

The lack of core mmo features is also not helping, my sub isn't even out for a couple of weeks and I'm already looking to go back to either EQ2 or Rift.

Because while this game promotes the illusion of choice, when you're actually playing as a min/maxer with some MMO experience, you realize there really isn't much choice at all, not on gameplay, not on classes, not on story.

  4. Incorrect

The Star Wars Lore Post-Return of the Jedi Fett used a thermal detonator and blew himself out of the Sarlacc Pitt and survived.

    Wikipedia disagrees

I also refuse to take into account G. Lucas's Bobajerking

  5. I know, but even then, how incompetent do the jedi have to be that the main cause of sith death is themselves, considering the Jedi are supposedly at war with them.

Just makes the republic look bad imo

  6. One thing at a time grasshoppa. There are more important issues than pvp that need to be addressed first.

Then why has every patch since release revolved around balancing PvP?

    OP is actually right.

Guards/juggs have been screaming about their bad AoE capabilities for months before release and the devs still don't even acknowledge the issue. Afterall, its just a PvE issue right.

I'm sorry, but I think they meant"watch" Community, the tv show. Because they definitly don't listen.

  7. I love when people say "pretend WoW doesn't exist"

Don't expect to release a game and have people "pretend" the competition doesn't exist.

It's like someone someone stuck in the woods having to eat their own poo, "it's okay, pretend food doesn't exist" pretend all you like but you're still eating crap.

Swtor's threat system is bleh at best when compared to most of whats on the market nowadays. You should be focusing your efforts fighting the encounter, not game mechanics.

It does need to be worked on
