  1. I think Obi-Wan mostly has to do with the film time. Star wars was made in 1977 and was the first film in the series. Lucas was still forming the story and what was going on. I don't think Obi-Wan being "slow" had anything to with his age or appearance (or probably even the actor); it had to do with the flim, filming style of the time, and technology. If you've seen the behind the scenes stuff, you can see how new and difficult it was for them to film the lightsaber scenes. Look what they did to Chrisopher Lee for epsiode 2 and 3 and the improvements of lightsaber duels in general. Although they went way overboard with computer graphics, the point is, they made it all far more intense than the original 3 movies. I'm sure if the original films had been made in recent years, those duels would look different.
  2. The story is the same whether you make light or dark choices. The only differences are whether someone reacts happily or angrily at you. The idea is pretty much that people go "huh"? when they see a Jedi making darker choices. Some of the dark side choices are not even that bad. From what I hear the Sith dark side choices are way more deviant and evil. I'm a dark side Jedi because I wanted a red lightsaber. I make light side choices during most of the missions. I use diplomacy to keep my dark points low enough to keep the relics.
  3. The game is built around the idea that you can play in a style that you want. So the answer to me is very simple: Dual-Spec would be a great add to flexibility. I'm almost inclined the same applies for some form of AC-changes too. It's not like they're saying that a Dual-Spec or an AC-Swap magically combines talent trees and abilities and you get some hybrid frankenstein class that didn't exist in the original design of the game. It's allowing you to swap one play style for another more quickly or easily. What I choose to do on my character(s) does not affect yours in any way whatsoever. So if I want to change my spec or class every other day, mind your own business. The premise of an MMO may be socialization, but the ability to solo the game and/or solo queue PvP is an option too.
  4. Maybe enough of the player base wants freedom in character customization. It could be an important business move. I agree with the OP. Right now there aren't even any neutral relics (at least that I've seen). It makes you wonder if they even considered that someone wouldn't just go Light or Dark. I stay neutral so that I can use both red and green crystals. But if I tip light, my red blade all of a sudden does zero damage. I would say just take a hatchet and cut the Dark/Light restrictions from most equipment. The only ones that should stay are the items at the specific Light Side and Dark Side vendors.
  5. And this should go without saying...this is only re: armor that looks like troopers. Jedi can't wear armor that actually has the 'Trooper' requirement on them.
  6. Yep. I grabbed the Frontline Defense Armor and Frontline Greaves. I think it swingin for a Jedi.
  7. Good question. Anyone seen any? Since they don't let light use red crystals in custom sabers (stupid imo), I decided to use diplomacy to help keep my alignment neutral. It's really not a problem for much (I don't care about the light-side armor) but yeah...haven't seen any neutral relics.
  8. I wish they would let you choose the color regardless of your alignment. I agree with the earlier poster...I think the green/blue vs red in the movies was a gimmick to separate the good guys vs bad guys. We never saw any yellow or orange in the movies. I think people were mesmerized by Mace's purple because that was the first time we saw a color other than green blue or red. I also think it would be cool if they added stones with different shades of the same color, like a lighter green and a deep emerald green. Light blue and a darker royal blue. Lighter red and a deep crimson.
  9. Find any vendor or medical droid. They all have a tab near the bottom of their screen that says "Repair." You can click each item individually or click "Repair All." I assume you're on Tython so go to the Jedi Temple. There's tons of npcs around.
  10. I'm not making as much either...but I'm still making a profit on the gray mid level lockbox missions. I have noticed more failure when I'm doing orange and yellow missions to gain levels.
  11. I haven't seen anyone comment on this. Probably not high priority...but I think Crew Mission completed notifications need to stay in the background if you are in combat. If it could just go directly to that Pending button on the top of the screen. C2N2 and his five crystals are a bit distracting when I'm trying to stuff an elite mob.
  12. I normally use the get all items button in the mailbox. In the top left corner of the mailbox window, there's a button that lets you check all messages. Then to the right of that there's a button that says 'get all checked message attachements.' Be careful not to hit the delete all messages button. See if that works maybe?
  13. dude T7 is a boss agreed, mad props on that one.
