alright thanks for the insight guys, im gonna give a pt a try looks like im gonna have to get to about 30 on it for ppa to really test it out, so im gonna give that a shot. At first i was against starting over but its so easy to level in this game im not too worried about it. Thanks for the help

Hello everyone I have been leveling an assassin as my first character, and got him up to level 43 now so i have a lot of the core skills, and what not. I have sort of lost interest in it at this point, I mainly pvp to level and do just the story quests on planets. My question is how do you guys like powertechs? Just from my pvp experience in the 10-49 bracket they look like a blast to play. My sin is getting pretty stale because im not a huge fan of the easy burst rotation that it has, along with stealth which i really don't care for. So in your opinion should I just grind out to 50 on the sin in the hopes it gets better or are pts really a blast to play like it looks like they are?

I have levelled a sin to level 30 and have really lost interest in it, I cant count the number of times i wish i had a ranged character while playing it, i don't really feel like a rolling a sorc because i don't want to do that story all over again. Thinking of rolling sage for a change of pace, storywise and so that all my attacks aren't lightning based (which gets old to me) So what are some thoughts on the level of fun of the sage, mainly dps but possibly healing at end game? Is the story any good, I have heard it's atrocious but it's the only one I haven't tried to at least 20 yet. Any help is appreciated.

Is infiltration still a viable spec for end game pve? I really dont care for balance at all, and enjoy the playstyle of infiltration. I really dont want to finish the last 10 levels and have my char benched due to low dps. I have had shadows in my guild say they have a hard time getting groups for anything... What are your experiences?

Just what the title says, i want to play a dps trooper but for some reason the big cannon just rubs me the wrong way much prefer the blaster rifle.

So you dont usually have trouble finding groups as a sin? That is really my biggest concern because the melee bleed thing is really not for me i have found out.

Do you ever have problems finding groups as a sin though? One of the sins in my guild says that when he goes to do hm fps groups ask him class and once he tells them they ignore him...

I have leveled both classes, not to max yet but i find the sin play style much more engaging. However my guild is telling me that sin dps is not very good endgame, while the mara is fine. I really want to play a melee dps but i just don't enjoy the mara playstyle very much. Is sin dps really so bad that people don't take them to raids or hm fps? Would i be better of just grinding the mara out just so i can contribute something?

I have stopped at level 10 because i want some advice, I am not interested in tanking, and i like the iconic single light saber style. However I have heard from numerous people in my guild to roll mara for dps because jugg just cant keep up to the point they made it sound like i wouldn't be getting invited to anything if i choose jugg. I just wanted to check if anyone else has an opinion on this, i played a sent in beta and always felt pretty squishy.

Hello everyone this is my first post here im really loving my merc playstyle lvl 25 atm. I only have one issue with it. It seems to me that all the head gear i have been getting look like a bucket with a visor... I was just wondering if this gets better at higher levels? It's not gonna stop me from playing my bh or anything it is just a little annoying to have to hide my helmet all the time.
