According to HP's site you only have 300 watts to play with, which isn't enough. Specs The 6850 is typically north of 500 watts. Will need to upgrade the PSU along with the graphics card.

No crashes here, tons of playtime.

I own that laptop as well. Runs like a champ. Not sure about the TV however I have a 42" LCD Samsung - runs well no tearing.
