  1. I said previously that i thought the stock market was very fair in relation to what it is trying to accomplish.
  2. There is no satisfaction anymore knowing that the cheating happened. It was a race with a fair beginning, but when you know someone cheated to billions of credits it just is not fun anymore. Merching in-game strengthens my eye for trading stocks in real life believe it or not which is a very good thing i gain; however, that is not enough to motivate me. As ridiculous as it seems i want the race factor in there because i find it extremely enjoyable.
  3. Corruption happens. We learn. But stop pretending like everyone cheats and the stock market is useless. Overall it is a very fair system for what it does and for what it can bring.
  4. It is a game itself to try to be the richest. Most don't like it but I do. That 'game' is ruined.
  5. Yeah i agree. We'll see how they handle it. Saying a few people were banned doesn't give justice... Saying all people that mass exploited the cheat were perm banned and anyone who got more than 50k from them were perm banned as well.. that gives justice
  6. Ya this is mostly me venting, but it really does suck that it happened so early. I just wish there was a game that was fair and fun for merching, but that will never exist.
  7. You try making 20k with 3k start up cost from 16-18
  8. Ya. I wanted to try SWTOR out cause i missed merching from runescape which i played like 3-4 years ago.
  9. Most people on wall street aren't cheaters, rather only a few are cause it is highly regulated. If 'most' were there wouldn't be a wall street.
  10. I do it in real life too. It takes practice and so does stocks, and it is very similar in many ways. Maybe someday i'll do more in rl when I have money i wouldn't mind losing.
  11. The point of merching isn't to buy all of the items in game it's the satisfaction to have a lot of money and to make money. It will never be recoverable. The top people in the stock market are mostly legitimate. The top people in SWTOR are all cheaters. Making money and trying to be the richest is a game all by itself. That game is over for merchers now. We would have to play catch up and that isn't fair or fun.
  12. You should cause I am quitting cause of cheaters not from fixable problems... there is a difference.
  13. I am quitting now... I really enjoyed the game so far; however, making money and merching has always been my favorite part of any game. I played Runescape and merched for years but i quit that game too when people got money unfairly. I am not going to spend hours and hours learning how to buy and sell items efficiently when such a leak has already occurred. SWTOR is now a bad game for merchers and it isn't recoverable. I have played for 3 weeks and dedicated much of my vacation to it and I hear that people have 2.2 billion credits from cheating? I would never be able to catch up unless i dedicate my life to my mom's basement for an entire year... and if i did i would just be called a cheater. I wanted to start a fresh game where no one was super rich and become a rich player through legitimate means. I like making money because it's a satisfaction. I have a ton of stocks and I am only 18 in real life, but when you hear about others getting money unfairly it just isn't worth it and it takes the fun out of the game. In the end, I would always wonder... Hey, did someone cheat and get 2 billion? Did that person get banned? Does he still have 50 mill on throw away accounts? Did he divide it up into a ton of different accounts? Did that person cheat? I'm not going to start a whole new game playing catch up. Sorry it was a good game but I quit and I won't be back. You would have to ban whole servers and clans.. anyone who was even remotely involved to make me reconsider. The damage has been dealt. Back to StarCraft II - a game that takes skill and cheating does not occur.

I wanted to start a fresh game where no one was super rich and become a rich player through legitimate means. That is no longer possible. **** YOU cheaters for ruining a great game.. Seriously **** you.
