End game crafting all requires this component. It is virtually impossible to get for an individual who plays solo. While I recognize that the goal of the game is to encourage grouping and social interaction, there ought to be a way for solo players to achieve end game items through some sort of complex quest. I enjoy PvE and PvP, but I do not have the time to spend to do the raids, flashpoints or operations required to obtain this component. I can only play in relatively short bursts. Please provide an alternative method to obtain this component that is possible for solo players to accomplish with a companion. I don't care how complex it is, as long as it can be done in parts.

Please make it possible to obtain Biometric Crystal Alloy through a complex quest. There are players like me who cannot play in blocks of time necessary to do hard flashpoints or raid, yet I would like to have the opportunity to craft the best components. There ought to be some way to obtain all the components in the game individually, even if it takes an inordinate amount of time in small chunks.

I have the same issue, with a slight twist. I am a solo player. I love the game and enjoy the way crafting has been implemented. I'd like to be able to obtain every crafting item through some sort of quest, even an onerously long one for BoP items. I don't want to group because I rarely have time to play for more than small snatches of time, and it's clearly not fair to the group to have to leave in mid stream. So...my choice to enjoy the game solo. I recognize that the whole thrust of MMORGs is social interaction, and SWTOR is certainly structured in that way to reward social game play, but for a player who does not want to group and does not want to join a guild, there ought to be a way to get to the highest content in crew skills through individual effort.
