  1. There are two problems: 1- The "Wiping the Slate" quest objective near the end need reviewed. 2- The quest does not reset properly when abandoned, leaving me in a state where I can initiate a cut screen with Major Damarus, but it never loads properly, and unable to see if there is more to this questline or try the quest over. Walkthru: I and a partner were doing the Nar Shaddaa quest, Wiping the Slate. Near the end, the minimap objective appeared to lead to a button on a lift. Clicking this button sent us outside the quest instance area and turned the doorway red. Unfortunately, we then couldn't see where to turn in the quest or go for the next objective. Thinking we had bugged the quest, we abandoned it. We then traveled to Major Damarus to pick the quest back up. Unfortunately, we can attempt to talk to him, but once we do, the screen drops out into a void/torn screen, which then pops us back to the normal screen after 5 seconds, almost like the game doesn't know what to do with us, but knows we should be able to talk to him. I attempted to wait a few days and also leave planet by way of the Imperial Fleet, but I came back and the quest is still unavailable and Major Damarus is still bugged. I'd really like to see this fixed so I can see whatever next content there is in this quest line. I opened two tickets, but both were closed, the later one suggesting I post here. Thanks!
  2. A) I like the idea of easier respecs for PVP. That should really be a separate consideration. B) PVE: This is a game where you make choices that have lasting consequences. You choose your companions and their liking of you. You choose your Advanced Class (never allow this to be changed, please). You choose Dark/Light/Neutral. You choose the outcome of various quests. I greatly welcome these lasting changes as part of the joy and fun of an MMO RPG game. The sort of fun that you just don't get when you can do every choice and get everything later on, or when there's one clearly better choice that you pick after researching the outcomes online. While respec/dualspec is very useful tool, there's a certain death to roles and characters when you allow wanton respecs. This may be intrinsic to the identity of SWTOR as an MMO RPG, and I'd hate to see a knee-jerk reaction so early in the game's life. The ability to do a few respecs is nice enough, and thank you for that. C) The devs should, at the very least, give the game 2 years or more of endgame content adoption and see how things stack up. Ideally, the community and players accommodate things like lack of tanks or lack of healers. Like, I don't know, maybe roll and live with one as your main... D) In that other MMO RPG, us healers really aren't viable to solo level. Well, we are, but it's a very slow grind. I love that SWTOR allows the use of companions. Give me a tank companion and suddenly heal-leveling is absolutely viable and fun.
  3. For those that have already done this, do you have any tips about grouping with friends/family from the start of the game? Should we pick different classes that start on the same origin world, or would we be fine with the same class? Will we stomp on each other's phased content? Should we wait until level 10 to bother meeting up in game? It's somewhat annoying not knowing how this content will play out when playing with a buddy or how frustrating/fun it may be... Thanks!
  4. Were kids allowed to see any of the 6 star wars movies? Honestly, kids are very resilient, have a decent sense of right and wrong, and will listen to their parents as they do have an innate need to please them. They'll survive. They often are far more prepared and enjoy things far more than us adults give them credit for. Half the time it doesn't even sink in what is *actually* going on. Just like all the cartoons and movies and media in my childhood, and I'd like to say I am a pretty normal adult today.
