  2. I love the idea of being in Command of an Alliance, so was dissapointed when GC didnt give you the feeling thats what you were actually doing. So created some ideas that make it seem like thats what you are doing, as well as possible solutions to Galactic Command armor and ALTS. STRONGHOLDS Add Odessan and / or Zakuul strongholds. I find it very immersion breaking that the leader of the Alliance cant sort out hold access / Selling / Auctioning without going to a non alliance world. Even if you just created a room which you can jump to that contains the above would be useful for starters. ARMOR Using the same three tiers of amor, add back the class vendors but make the armor command level required same as old PVP. so: an example of Tier 1 Bracers - Requires Command Level 10 Boots - Requires Command Level 20 Gloves - Requires Command Level 30 Legs - Requires Command Level 40 Belt - Requires Command Level 50 Implant - Requires Command Level 60 Ear - Requires Command Level 70 Weapon - Requires Command Level 80 Head - Requires Command Level 90 Chest - Requires Command Level 100 Tier 2 is 101-200 and tier 3 201 - 300 For levelling alts, for each 100 in command rank you attain, you receive a box containing a BoP Implant and / or earpiece called "Followers Implant of..." Each contains 100% bonus to Command experience. The boxes can be sent to alts and allow in total 300% bonus to Command Point experience. Once that character reaches those levels they receive boxes that can be posted to another ALT. ADDITIONAL GALACTIC COMMAND STUFF A Couple of ideas to make it seem like you are actually COMMANDING something. Special Operations - A separate section in which you can allocate resources and Personnel for Missions. You are given a random assortment of characters with a name, Occupation, portrait and number of random skills such as soldier (25) Explosives (20) etc.. to start with, and you can buy or gain more personnel as you go along. Missions are offered that offer Command Points and / or other rewards to complete. If you crit the mission you get more stuff. Chance to succeed and crit is based on the mission needing certain skills to complete. Which you can increase by selecting the right officers from the list. Crew Companions, Cartel Pack Companions and storymode would be added automatically. Others could be gained by Missions, Cartel Market or trading. Once added to your roster they would become non tradable. As the portrait doesn't need to talk or be animated you could add personnel from many Star wars races and classes easily including ones that are not even in the game. Including old favorites enccountered during the story playthroughs. This concept could also be extended to add Fleet missions with the player gaining specialised ships like the Gravestone, Class specific ships, Eternal Fleet Warships, Sith destroyers etc.. Ships and personnel could be lost if the missions fail badly enough. Again these could be offered in packs, gained from Mission crits and bought from the AH. CONTENT Adding additional "Heroic" style missions for small groups / solo that are actually relevant. I love doing the Heroics but again find it jarring to see old missions based on pre KOTET scenarios. One possbility is to use one of the larger instances, possibly some of the ones created for new missions and use them to create a series of missions to give Command points and a bonus if you complete all. So for Example Asylum Map. You enter either solo or as a group and have a mission terminal which offers a series of objectives to be done. (Ie. locate and kill Pirate Leader X. Find 35 supplies. These are all randomly scattered around the zone when created to add variety. Boss mobs could be selected from a list each with different loot tables to encourage re running. They could also drop some of the older cartel Market armor as BoP to help players complete the sets.
  3. As you say all these bugs that dont get fixed. However what really annoys me..the cool benficial ones, like the armour effects being able to be applied to other armors...they fixed that one pretty damn quick....
  4. A Hyperthetical situation: A worker comes into work after a weekend and gets called into his bosses office. (lets call him Benny for arguements sake) Benny: Ahh welcome back..just wanted to let you know some new changes we have been doing while you were away.. Worker: Uh Huh? Benny: Yes you see up till now, when you came to work, for your valuable time we would pay you with money. You could then use this to go out and buy food, fuel, pay for kids tuition..whatever you wanted. Benny: Well we have this marvelous new system now. You see, at the end of the week, we will be giving you a box. Worker: Err..a box? Benny: Thats right. In it..instead of money we are going to fill it with random stuff you might need. You know..some random food...peanuts..dogfood. As well as gift cards for the local florist..maybe some fuel..a stray cat we found... Worker: A Cat!?! Benny: Of course..who doesnt like random pets... Worker: But...but...I Benny: Isnt it exciting!!..now instead of saving up and working hard for what you want..now you can hope that you get enough food to feed the kids..or petrol Worker: But..but..my family are gearing up for our holiday, we need to save that money for new clothes, sunscream spending money. Benny: Ahh well good luck then! hopefully some of that will turn up in the first box for you! Silly sketch just to show how im feeling about the game at the moment. Hopefully gives people a laugh...and makes a point. For the first time since the game started and I played as founder, I have cancelled my sub. I wont list the myriad of reason as to why, these have all been mentioned before. However in case the devs do read. RNG and lack of new content are my main reasons. I do not like RNG. I have already suffered from it in this game. Been trying to get the Verpine style agent armor using the boxes. On multiple chars..levelled 2 up..others following..hundreds of boxes with no drop. I am not prepared to go through that agin to get a set item. The lack of new content past the story is also an issue. I loved exploring new worlds like Makeb. Now instead of exploring and finding / doing missions at different bases, I feel like im in a tourbus, just seeing only the good part of the tour and then being whisked off somewhere else. For those staying good luck..As for me I will keep an eye on this game, possibly coming back if it changes back to the sort of game I want to play... Thanks for reading
  5. Was thinking about this as an option to sort the gearing issues Use the PVP style level restriction on the armor however base it on command rank. So tier one set chest peice will have a "requires command level 100" on it These could be sold be vendors at the fleet. Each peice would have a different level requirement starting at 10 and jumping up in levels of 10 with the tier three chest peice being 300.

  7. As the title says just A post for people to post scenarios they would like to see / think could be used in the next expansion. Was Thinking Myself of Belsavis. A mysterious power has taken control of the planet and releasing and controlling Eshka and all other manner of species and technology locked up by the Rakata. At the same time, the "ancient power" has been manipulating the Empire and republic driving them again to war. The Commander must face off the forces of Belsavis and try to discover the Identity and plans of this evil while trying to prevent a new Galactic war from erupting.
  8. True But As I missed the fact that there are multiple tiers then the acheivements could be split into the three tier sections.That way more casual players would get completed sets of tier 1s easily for alts while grinding for tier 3 on a main.
  9. Lots of ideas and opinions floating around on this issue. Only reached level 10 myself with some very average drops. The RNG hasn't bothered me too much but I can see the concern with the set armor bring random and taking too long to get. Too that end why not take a page out of DvL event and create achievements for various command levels. These would send an email containing a fixed peice of the set armor specific to your class. Plus the achievement hunters gain something from the system as well. Command level 30. Wrist slot Command level 60. Gloves Command level 90. Boots Command level 120. Belt Command level 150. Legs Command level 180. Head slot Command level 210. Ear Command level 240. Implant Command level 270 implant Command level 300 chest
  10. Devs should remember this is a story..like those shows on TV. Therefore they should make it that how ever long you take quick or slow, the player always manages to stop the timer with 1 second to go...
  11. I think the poster had the same issue i did. The room you are in has a number of power relays that are showing as green targets, but you cant destroy them. I did the same..logged out back in as I assumed they were bugged and supposed to be killable. At no point (that I saw) in that quest did it tell you to leave the room. The quest should either tell you to exit the room to start, or Bioware should remove those power relays to avoid confusion.
  12. Really what they should have done at the start of the new season is this... Big cutscenes explaining how famous the war with arcann made you. Cutscenes of shuttles arriving with shots of the companions getting off. An additional cutscene for arriving companions in romance. Add all the companions to the players. At this point they could create missions for any of those companions at any time without being under pressure to bring them back. Or just use new ones for the story. For complex choice character like Jaesa, you could create a quest involving some sort of memory block or amnesia were the character is grey for the quest but the end you get a quest choice which restores her personality to which ever one you want.

  14. The sith Warr has a glaring one. start watching just before 21 mins. Jaesa has a completely different voice. Then quinn suddenly changes to a completely different Voice Actor mid scene
  15. Things that annoy me. 1. Not being able to hide the conquest message bar and having to continually reset the Ui to clear it. 2. The over the top need for privacy that my characters have. I board the ship to speak with a crew member but have to take off and head into orbit before I can.
