  1. There are ways to make the inital part quicker. Here's what we do, Our scout tank and 1 dps go into the tower, DPS kills the add and then begins scouting for the big droid while the tank is still scouting squares. After scouting the droid, the DPS joins the fight. This cuts roughly 30-40 secs off the fight. Also make sure your not running the right side squares right into the wall, there almost always is another way to go.

What my team does for both Story and HM is we stack our two strongest DPS on Firebrand to blow it out first. 15% on story means it have only about 90k health left so if your two strongest dps can blow firebrand out quicker, they can join you as Stormcallers soft enrage is a joke. Also, tank swapping is an ancient way of doing this fight. If you have a Vanguard/Guardian/Shadow on your team who can actively taunt while dpsing, they should taunt 5 seconds after double destruction is called on the other side. This off taunt should take the incinerate armor debuff and your main tank should pick the tank back up without having to swap at all.
  3. Doesn't work like that, DPS is calculated by damage done divided by total amount of time in combat. If you nail 2 big attacks for 8k total, in a 6 min fight you will only have 22.2 dps. The problem i see with dps ranking is it is all done by bots and doesn't take into account fights that are short or incomplete. Also, Lahkiz(Jorrus =) ) How in the hell does Warning( i think) hit 1950 dps... Ive done like 1800 average without counting bosses like fabricator who boost damage alot. - Hollopoint

  5. Sounds the same, we have 3 guilds who can field pvp teams that's it. We play eachother all the time and maybe an imp team once or twice a day.
  6. Belgoth's is with you here!... How is Darth Malek population wise? Belgoth's still has about 80-100 Pubs online(total, not fleet) usually.
  7. LOL atleast you got to transfer and play on a populated server... Belgoth's is still stuck for yet another day as 1 of 2 East PVP servers left...
  8. Just transfer, the previous population now means nothing because of multiple servers transferring in.
  9. Most posts in this thread are focused only on 1 thing, PVP. There are 2 mode's of gameplay in this game PVP and PVE, Nerfing a class in 1 mode will obviously nerf a class in the second. The only way to make sure that classes are balanced in both modes is to not change Variable X but Variable Y. Variable Y being the MASSIVE inflation they gave to Expertise and the relic/adrenal stacking. Mara's and Sentinels only started coming into the picture as OP when Massive amounts of expertise added made even terrible marauders/sentinels capable of dealing high amounts of damage. This holds true for vanguards/powertechs who deal the same massive amounts of damage in short bursts just like marauders/sentinels. Fix the expertise, don't nerf a class that's been relatively unchanged since launch where they were once called one of the worst classes in the game.
  10. Transfer's don't work like this. You will NOT have a choice in which server you want to go to. There are 2 options on the table: Option 1: You are a origin server desgnated to transfer to Server X, Would you like to transfer to Server X ? YES -> You transfer to a predetermined server NO -> You stay on your current server Option 2: You are a destination server where you cannot transfer out but multiple other servers will be transferred into you. Transfers are not free transfers in the sense that you can choose where you want to go. This will not happen.
  11. The class isn't the problem, it's the player. I've seen many scoundrels and Guardian DPS who do just fine and keep up with sentinels. If most players can learn their class inside and out, they can do anything.

I don't have a video yet, but here's my log for reference. http://www.torparse.com/a/42782 Look at the fight times 16:59:54 - 17:02:06 2m 12 second fight with 1 sage healer, 2 sentinels and 1 guardian tank. This is with DragonExadon... People who complain this game is biased against melee's need to rea;ise we've been compensated by a rediculously large amount of damage we can put out vs ranged classes. Just yesterday in NiM KP, my best geared gunslinger who's in Rakata/Blackhole/Campaign only did 1500 dps while i turned out 1700-1800 easy. If your a melee class, you need to take the initiative to get better at moving and dealing damage. You can't stay planted and mash buttons all day long.
