Yeah, those scary 900 damage crits, 4 ticks over 3 seconds. So assuming all 4 crit, you're looking at 3600 damage. "BUT KITHIKA, IT CRITS FER 2.5k" No, no it doesn't. Best you'll see is 1.3k on undergeared 50s with buffs stacked. Sorry if you've got no gear, but EVERYBODY will **** on you at that point. Oh, and you can still use your interrupt to lock the spell out.

Please, please, PLEASE, tell me in what way shape or form do we have DPS that heals us? Oh, Parasitism with Creeping Death? I didn't realize 1.3% of my HP on a DoT CRIT was considered good, or a flat amount from Deathfield that is next to nothing. Granted, Sorcs have decent sustainable damage, but all it takes is one person breathing on you and it's impossible to do much of anything besides throwing out instants that don't do all that much damage. Maybe you mouth breathers should start learning to use your interrupts, because I doubt every single one of you is a Merc/Commando. Oh, and don't give me that "BUT UR KB IS SUPER FAR AND ROOT LASTZ 4EVER". If you're rooted for more than 2 seconds that means the Sorc isn't dealing any damage to you. "BUT UR SHIELD BLINDS WHEN IT BREAKZ" Yep, oh **** me man, a 3 second blind that breaks on damage, again, not dealing damage. "WHIRLWIND" You probably get the point. Then, I've got a 4 second stun which is pretty awesome, except pretty much everybody has a baseline stun of that magnitude. ****, Force Sprint? Either you're ranged, have a pull, HAVE force sprint, or can vanish away and go find some other ****** because you're so incapable of bursting a Sorc down quickly enough. Look, I'm not saying Sorcs are underpowered, I'm just saying you're all ******* for thinking the class is so broken, I mean seriously, get to 50 and get some Champion gear, then come talk to me when you've fought against equally geared players. The fact of the matter is DPS Sorcs have ONE viable spec that revolves around Wrath procs with Chain Lightning, and it just so happens that you can pick up EVERY CC a Sorc has available to them with that spec. It doesn't have insane burst, in full Champ I crit for 3.5k at best on equally geared players when I pop my CDs. Maybe if I get an Affliction proc twice in a row for 2 1.5 sec FLs, then maybe I can really burst, but as it stands the class is jut sustained damage and most of you ******* are too stupid to use CC or interrupts, or, you know, just kill the Sorc. Where is this quote of Sorc shields hitting going for 5k? I'm sitting in full champion gear with the 20% increase to my shields from lightning and mine are sitting at around 3.5k. You might get higher popping 2 min CD buffs, but that's pretty much ONE shield per person, maybe 2 if you immediately recast it when the 17 second debuff falls. Stop with all the non sense about our shields going for 5k, it's seriously getting ridiculous.
