I called the phone number and actually got a live person within just a few minutes. Unfortunately, the woman in India I spoke to had no idea what I was talking about. She suggested I send an email, so I did. That was last week. Still nothing but the automated reply. Luckily I found a solution to my problem elsewhere.

I still can't tell you the name of one single player on my server. I don't chat much while I'm playing, I concentrate on the missions I'm on. If there were server forums, I'd know a ton of players by now.

Seriously, re-roll. It'll take a fraction of the time to get back to where you are now 'cause you know exactly where to go and what to do for the quests. I re-rolled a character I'd gotten into the mid teens because I decided I didn't like his haircut.

If you're on an RP server then wouldn't general chat be where you roleplay?

Haven't you guys heard? They won't make any more fourms because they're too cash-strapped to afford any more mods and we all know you can't have a forum without mods to read every single post!!!

I think it would be much more interesting if you didn't see the icons indicating which side the choice will align to. You just make the choice based on your gut and see what happens. Early on in the game, before I learned about the icons, I made a few decisions that I thought were the honorable choices only to find out they're considered the dark choice. Since then I predominently choose light, although I did make a few dark choices that again I felt were the more honorable choice.

We're not really worried about the players who don't use the forums. We're worried about the players who do. When an MMO has several million subscribers, that minority of players who frequent the forums can still number in the millions. That's a lot of players and almost all of those players want server specific forums. I've been wanting to start posting more to try and make some friends but it's impossible to develop a rapport with people when all the threads apply to virtually everyone in the game, no matter where they are or what server the play on. The Guild Hall is a joke. Almost no one puts the server in the thread title, making the job of looking for a guild on my server a lesson in futility. And wanting to set-up a group in advance for a few flashpoint runs later in the day? Forget it. The simple fact is, this is the first MMO I've ever played (and I've tried a ton of them) that has not had server forums and the games community is sorely lacking because of it.

Same here. For the first few days I was positive that I was just not looking in the right place because there has to be server forums, right? There just has to be. It's an MMO, after all. When I found out there were not server forums, my interest in trying to develop a presence on the forums plummeted. Now, this is really the only thread I keep up with.

Server forums = identity. I'm coming late to this party but frankly I'm baffled that there are no server forums. I just browsed the NA Guild forum and almost no one puts the server in the thread title. As much time as I waste browsing forums, I'm not prepared to click on every single thread in order to find the 1 in 100 that involves my server. Hopefully this gets taken care of very soon.

Everything went as smooth as glass for me. I felt bad listening to people complain in chat about the problems they were having. I got lucky.
