  1. Agreed -this is very much also what I'd like to see, in addition to information on whether we can expect there to be any issues with having all of our characters transferred over. (since a level demand or similar would definatly make it "necessary" to start any new alts on the new server -back to wanting to know which servers are available/linked) I'm also having a small hope they'll expand the number of available character slots for these transfers, so we can merge two existing legacies, but not finding it likely.
  2. If it works like it did for the oceanic server transfers, you can wait with deleting your nameholder until your new character has been transferred over -you will not be prompted to choose a name until you select that character, and the server updates immediatly when a name has become available. (or rather, I guess i checks for duplicates when you select the name). This way you would have to be extremely unlucky for someone to manage to grab the name in the few seconds it is available. Of course, no guarantees to works the same way, but I don't immediatly see why it would have changed.
  3. Yes, 8*5 companions (the droid doesn't count) *10 per companion. =400 presence. (also remember +100 presence from the human race unlock if you have that) Also, correct, you only get the 1 minute reduction once per type of companion, leaving you at a five minute cooldown reduction, in the same way you will only get the buff to surge/crit/etc once per type -so five increases in all.
  4. SinnedWill has kindly looked into some of those various bonuses, unfortunatly that doesn't seem to include the health buff. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=447293&page=2 Has the known bonuses listed otherwise -1% seems relatively common, but I presume if it was a simple 1% buff here, as well, that would have been noticed.
  5. Guess it should be added that yes, if you unlock T7's health legacy bonus all of your characters on that legacy will receive a permanent health boost.
  6. That is a legacy benefit, meaning it's for all of your characters in that legacy. It doesn't matter whether a companion is summoned or not. Basically each "type" of companion gives a bonus to your whole legacy once you've completed their story. (so max affection is not actually required, but I think you need more than 9000, at least, to unlock all of their conversations).
  7. Just confirming that the crafted orange blaster pistol can not be RE'ed either.
  8. Dearest sister; You piqued my curiosity, so I checked in with home. Yes, father is well -healthy and alive. I will admit you have me pondering why he would not be; Surely Mother has taken plenty of lovers in the past, without any of them endangering father's position? I believe she is pleased with his compartment -and the children he fathered. He has always been a loyal consort, and if you are to grant Mother anything, she rewards loyalty. In fact, I am taking a page out of her book with this Quinn fellow. One day he might even learn to like me. Of course, that could be too strong emotion for the man. I would have the Twi'Lek try to encourage some other... action on his part, but the two of them do not get along, and disapproval I can achieve from him myself. I despair that short of killing Baras that is the strongest reaction I'll get out of the man. About companions; I am amused to hear how your relationship with this Mako progresses. Who could imagine you would enjoy a sister? Do make sure to make a holo for me if the two of you decide to braid hair and put on make-up together. Nar Shaddah is pretty much as advertised: Flashing lights and dirt side by side. I am not given much time to experience the sights, though will see once my task here is done. Yes, one would think I, of all people, could find time, but having two Sith Lords irked at you is not conductive to relaxation.
  9. Dearest sister, I have not written you much here from Balmorra. It has been interesting. I met the most delightful woman. Seduction is all the sweeter when mingled with fear; a good lesson to be reminded of. I have also picked up a new crew member -Captain Malavai Quinn. An Imperial from his fingertips down to the freshly polished boots. I would have liked to introduce him to you -maybe my sister could make him unwind. Or leave him crying in a corner, whichever strikes your fancy. However, Baras favours him, so he will get to make himself useful around here. Time to go find out how I am to make myself useful, however. With love, Kerek.
  10. Eh... Well, yes, in this scenario you gave her a young, healthy and attractive body with a strong connection to the force (Based on what we see in the holocrons from Ashara's training). That's pretty much what Zash wanted from you in the first place
  11. Wondering about the same. However, I have spotted a change from yesterday. I was deleting one of my old characters to free up some character slots on the server, and vendored everything he had -including the vanity pet he had in his mailbox, which I believe sold for somewhere around 2500 (was reacting to it, since in theory I guess you could earn money making characters, then deleting them after sellling the pet and sending off the money) Today that vanity pet sells for zero credits. So possibly something associated to the pet was messed up? Didn't check what it's buyback price was.
  12. Nope, I can send all sorts of items and credits from my empire to republic toons. They only complained when I tried to send cross faction to the boyfriend's toons (Yes, lost track a bit)
  13. If they haven't fixed the problem with the GTN a lot of us complained about on the PTS, for several cathegories (companion gifts, earpieces and implants at least afair) searches do not function properly. Changing the rarity from "any" to lowest available rarity fixes it -but a bit.... daft.
  14. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=373762 is about which presents he enjoys. Unfortunatly I haven't even completed chapter one on the pts yet, so can't tell you about the mods.
  15. Dear sister, You are right, I have not written much about my master. I am slightly embarrassed to admit that the man scares me. Will you avenge me if this is the man who manages to break me and turn me into a good little Sith drone? Of course, so far he is... humouring me. Possibly he will allow me to be what I am as long as I get him results. That seems fair -For the Sith the price for failure will always be high. And, of course, at least the man is not dull. May we live in interesting times, Kerek. PS: No, you may not send me some “upgrades” for my space ship. I still remember the beating I got after you “upgraded” Mother's styling droid -without even letting me have a go at its programming, I might add! I will, however, tell the Twi'lek to search for those rare metals you needed -she should enjoy seeking out some of her old contacts. You know where they will be sent.
