  1. I do agree with OP as well. I unsubbed a few days ago and finish in two days. Its actually really depressing for me. I really hoped this would live up to the hype. I love Star Wars lore, and only played WoW for a week - so this was my real first MMO where I dived in. To be fair to Bio - I did get a good 2 months out of it. To give them credit, there is a good game in there, its just not one that will last if trends continue. Plus, the fact I found a mate online to quest with the whole time kinda kept me going. Three things did it: 1. The combat "Stand-and-Deliver" method is just too samey and boring. 2. The Engine is struggling. I ran this game at about 25-30 fps 3. End game gets boring FAST (its just too grindy) The fact that the worlds are getting less n less populated is probably the thing that did it. I constantly found myself asking LFG, but no one to do heroics with. It just made the whole mutliplayer aspect seem non-existent. Much to my sadness to admit, I don't see this game lasting long to be the new height of MMO. Unless Bioware do something radical, there are just too many INHERENT flaws to bring this game back*. *Inherent flaws like the combat system would require a complete redesign of the game and with all the money sunk into it, I seriously doubt theyll take this thing that far.
  2. Hey all I'm running an '08 iMac with following specs (bootcamp): CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @2.66GHz OS: Windows 7 (64-bit) RAM: 4GB VIDEO: nVIDIA GeForce 9400 At the min, the game is playable, but a little annoying. FPS generally hovers round the 20fps mark, but in the opening of Taris and some indoor cutscenes, drops to as low as 5-10fps. All my settings are set to low, shadows off and I stopped all non-critical windows functions to crank the performance of the CPU. Im a novice when it comes to software, so have no idea how to update drivers (do i do it windows or mac side?) and fiddling a bit with GPU settings. I suspect the graphics card is the problem - as most peeps with the NVIDIA Gf 9400 have similar issues./ Any help would be great!
