Yeah people don't realize we speccd healer because we like to heal. We don't want to dps but in order to gear faster and get respectable valor we HAVE to.

oh well. pop expertise pot and do one heal crit for the 2.5k heal even as dps spec.

I would love to but on my under geared Operative when I was healing spec I couldn't dps and heal at the same time without people dying allover the place. So if I wanted to win and keep people alive I had to spam heals.

Yes this. I noticed on my geared sorc healer that I would just let people die instead of heal them so I could snag more medals. This isn't effective game play. Why not just play dps get almost all the same medals and get the biochem pot for the easy 2.5k heal.

I am curious why any op would even want alacrity then, if this stat doesn't lower the gcd for your hots it seems worthless to me for pvp. Yet still it is on all the healing pvp gear ...

Anyone else get to the end of a casted heal and it doesn't actually heal at all?

I am curious why anyone does it. I love healing don't get me wrong. It is my favorite thing to do. I just wonder what's the point. You can spec dps get double the medals and win almost every match. Compared to healing, get half the medals and lose much more often. At least this is my experience. I do hope bioware has plans for new healing medals. I always look down midgame as a dps and see that i have 5 medals. When i do the same as a healer I have only 1 or 2. Also playing a dps I live twice as long since I can kill one guy that gets on me and then get away, heal to full come back into the action. As with playing a healer 1 guy gets on you, you heal thru it until the second guy gets on you then you're dead. anyone else feeling this way?

Couldn't agree more. They made healing in this game reliant on having a tank baby sit you in pvp.

YES this. I wish every dps had to try healing sometime. Its 100x harder than playing dps and you die faster against smart players that just hop on you.

Untrue they have a button u can press to see who they are targeting I have it set to F2. But would be nice to see it on the display.

Please add this feature. Would be really nice to know who the enemy is attacking and who your teammates are focusing.

Everyone giving the op **** needs to chill. The healing in this game IS under powered if 1 dps can kill a healer without using a stun or interrupt.. that is just bad mechanics. A lot of the problem is heals don't even go off half the time, If you are spamming your button to heal the animations can't keep up with the heals. Also bolster must be broken because my heal spells hit for roughly 500 a spell more when i was level 14 then now at level 40. I do say healing is still fun in this game, and I am having a blast but I am sure hardcore pvpers like the op and myself will leave this game immediately when a better balanced pvp game comes out like gw2.

I know if bioware does not implement arenas that nobody I play games with will stick with star wars and will jump ship to gw2 on release. Games get way too boring without small scale high intensity pvp combat imo.
